The Immaculate Collection vinyl is currently £15.95 on Amazon UK! Down from £24.99 I think?

I wonder what is prompting it to do so well again? For a few weeks in the first half of this year, it was Celebration that spent some time within the Top 200 - but now it seems that Immaculate Collection has taken over.

(I still find it very curious that in the week of its re-issue vinyl release, it didn't have any streaming or downloads attached to its sales at all. In recent weeks it does have sales coming from downloads and streaming though... I suppose it must have been an odd mistake).

Sales appear very low in the album chart this week but it could simply be to do with that.

I would believe at number 75, it could cover 300 sales at this point of the week.

The Immaculate Collection completely disappeared in the Wednesday and Thursday updates, so I'm guessing it's been moved back to the budget chart.
Like a Virgin only £14.88 on Amazon UK currently! It's £20.99 in HMV.

Looks like the Erotica and Music vinyl re-issues have been pushed back a week, with Amazon now showing 26th October as the release date. Source.

Also, as part of Record Store Day's Black Friday, Ray of Light will be released on a double clear vinyl. Available on 23rd November. Source.

Monday Midweek Update

#48 Music

#50 Erotica

I suspect these will both fall out the Top 100 come Friday. From what I've heard, they don't seem to be as readily available as the other vinyl reissues.

The re releases have lost their mojo. They are happening far too often with nothing new on them. I am a vinyl collector and I haven’t bothered with these two .

The Queen of Pop’s first three studio albums – Madonna, Like a Virgin and True Blue – and her first soundtrack opus – Who’s That Girl – will be released by Rhino Records on crystal clear vinyl on November 8 in step with her upcoming Madame X Tour.

Also rumours that a 30th anniversary edition of Like a Prayer has been given the go ahead, so keep an eye out for more news on that!

Not bothering with these.

Jesus they are rinsing fans!!
