June 17, 20187 yr I can't Believe no Ellie Goulding q'd :/ Buzzjack I thought you were better than this x
June 17, 20187 yr These results are actually broadly quite good (shite winner and drops for The xx and Ellie aside). Yay for Owl City, Tim Berg, Pendulum and Mark Ronson. 'Seek Bromance' almost undoubtedly to be my only nomination to get past the first round (and maybe even to AQ)
June 18, 20187 yr great to see 'Seek Bromance' and 'Miami 2 Ibiza' leaping into the semi-finalist zone! and even if I prefer 'Who's That Chick' I'm glad Tim Berg won out there in that battle. good rise for Pendulum into AQ zone too. and I suspect now 'Dancing On My Own' won't be winning the whole thing this year if it's already left #1 for 2010, I do think now the Calum Scott version isn't so prominent it won't do quite as well.
June 18, 20187 yr *checks on my nominations* oops I was the only one to vote 'Rill Rill' :') Thought it might have a fan or two out there. It should. Great to see 'Dance The Way I Feel' get 4 other votes *.* My 2009 +30 'End Credits' fell 8-26 and my 2010 +30 'Katy On a Mission' fell 8-29 :snif: I'm not sure if I've cursed my favourites, last year's #8s, or both. 'Te Amo' and particularly 'Watercolour' are worthy new AQs though. I always love seeing how well 'Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart' endures here, particularly as I wasn't yet following the UK charts, where it was actually a sizeable hit, so it feels like a bit of an underground gem. Surprising to see 'Only Girl (In The World)' overtake the 2 songs behind it.
June 19, 20187 yr Dang, Once and at least one of the Ellie Gouldings missed out because I didn't get to vote in this round :/
June 19, 20187 yr Need you now 😮😍😍😍 best shock result yet *.*Don't quote me but I think it's actually been an AQ before, just not this year!
June 19, 20187 yr *checks on my nominations* oops I was the only one to vote 'Rill Rill' :') Thought it might have a fan or two out there. It should. Great to see 'Dance The Way I Feel' get 4 other votes *.* 'Rill Rill' wasn't far off my votes! I really loved that era from Sleigh Bells ('Infinity Guitars' got a good number of points from me, and 'A/B Machines' would have as well if anyone nominated that), haven't paid enough attention to their later stuff though (I remember being a bit underwhelmed by 'Comeback Kid' unfortunately). 'Dance The Way I Feel' is amaze as well
