Watching now as i have it recorded, i though the vocal on spinning around was her worst in a while but she nailed the vocal on Stop Me From Falling and In your eyes and i like that version of cant get you out of my head. Surprised especially for you is on the list without it having a special guest appearance, this kinda makes me think muscis too sad without you wont be on the set.

Oh just as i posted that Jason Donovan walks on, that makes more sense now although his vocal was non existent!!

Its not the worst or best version of the loco motion but i just prefer the fast version of the song as its more fun and more kylie.

Good version of on a night like this.

Just got back from the show at Hyde Park - incredible night with surprises from Jason and Rick plus she sung lots of old hits (ISBSL, Locomotion etc.,), not sure if it was shown on TV but there was a technical fault so to use up the time while it was fixed she done snippets of some songs (Got To Be Certain, Je Ne Sais etc.,).

So pleased I went - the total lack of Kylie mercy was disappointing though! Bring on the tour :cheer:

'Never Gonna Give You Up' with Rick Astley was great! Bet y'all are glad he stuck around for 'Kids'. :D

What do you mean by lack of Kylie mercy, do you mean there wasnt a huge amount of big kylie fans there?

Think he meant merch as in merchandise!

Ah that would make more sense.

Bit like loco motion im not fan of the slow version of i should be so lucky but rick coming on is a good surprise, and i wonder was having a rick coming on a little nod back to the old rumour he sang i should be lucky on the high speed on the good old record players.

Yep I meant merchandise  The iPhone spellchecker loves to randomly change words!

It was cut from the TV airing but Radio 2 did share it in a tweet:

True pro!

That's exactly what I thought about too!

On that point I have to say there were a lot of Kylie fans there but we got lost in the crowd of 40,000+ people, felt very different from a normal Kylie show even though it was amazing.

Really loved that Rick and Kylie duet and a lovely throw back to the 80's and PWL although kids didn't work aswell. Wonder why Jason didn't contribute on the vocal of especially for you as it would have been nice. While i like kids and especially for you i will be slightly disappointed if these duets make it and musics too sad with you doesnt make it when its her newest duet.

Brilliant performance of Dancing a huge highlight, Dancing deserved to be a Top 5 hit minimum.

Love at first sight is a song she really seems to love performing which is a great as im a big fan of the song, loved the All The Lovers performance, and those couple of changes really worked but stayed true to the original.

I am a little surprised she didn't push songs a little more from Golden, in my opinion she could have dropped one ow two of the older songs for some songs of the album and i find it slightly baffling that she didn't perform a life time to repair considering its her new single, only 3 songs from the album were performed.

Overall it was very good and she looked fantastic and really got going after the first 2 songs.

I liked the performance but why do the same predictable songs like love at first sight, spinning around, kids and can’t get you out of my head? I know they are popular but would have preferred something different. Also, I’m surprised she didn’t sing a lifetime to repair given it’s supposed to be the current single!

My top 5

1. Golden

2. All the lovers

3. Dancing

4. On a night like this

5. Stop me from falling

Kylie seemed really unsure of the audience when she first came out - it wasn’t her usual kind of show, also the audience was a lot older so I guess she played it safe to make sure it didn’t fall flat?

iTunes impact -

Golden #13

Greatest Hits (PWL) #136

Dancing #79

Especially For You #138

Stop Me From Falling #157

I am shocked at A Lifetime To Repair getting left off the set.

I understand Kylie may have been unsure of the crowd but she could have easily dropped an old song or Golden from the list to promote it.

Terrible decision - Lenny Kravitz, Boyzone and The Manic Street Preachers all sung their new singles alongside their hits.

'Especially for You' and 'I Should Be So Lucky'/'Never Gonna Give You Up' uploaded to BBC Music now:

Naturally people would plug the new material especially when Kylie had such a long set she could have easily altered the set list to fit it in.
