The salary issue is no different then most industries and has been a very recent topic of discussion with demands for change. It’s not like Dean Gaffney is on more than Letitia Dean because of his penis. Certain female characters also get special treatment from the writers. Stacey, for example, does lots of awful things but always gets her way in the end.

 

And I really don’t think anyone here can take your sexism arguments seriously when the only other thing you ever do in this thread is comment on how fat Sharon is.

Meanwhile, even males like MINTY get all the cash.

 

And all I said is she is unhealthily large.

I haven't watched this in a good couple of weeks oops, World Cup pushing it to past 9 most nights means we just have Love Island on instead and when it's all Stuart and Mick as it was when I drifted off I just can't be bothered seeking it out later to watch :/

I don't really understand why I'm still watching Eastenders. It's been nearly unwatchable for so long and John Yorke really isn't doing it for me so far (and I had such high hopes.) I care about characters like Kat, Stacey and Mel and at this point, I think that's the only thing keeping me tuning in.

Christ, terrible ratings and they can't even blame say the football and people still being at the pub for it. Idk how they manage to have just the one odd good thing (Kat's return episodes, Shakil's stabbing) and then the meter runs out and they have nothing to give for weeks/months at a time... Looking at the summer trailer we've got a way to go.
