I only caught the 2nd half, but we really struggled to make much of any opportunities we had. Once PSG got in front they just spoilt the game with the theatrics.

Thursday night football could be coming to Anfield soon! Another defeat for Liverpool in the Champions League tonight.

Potentially, would not be ideal after last years exploits, but these things happen. Still, we know we have to win either 1-0 or by 2 clear goals. Napoli are a good side, but at Anfield in a must win game on a Champions League night I would back us every single time.

The only way Man Utd won't be playing Thursday night football next year is by winning the Champions League this year!

It'll be an minor miracle if Tottenham beat Barcelona tonight.

Messi not starting.. but can't see Barcelona getting beat regardless.

Slightly concerned with the Liverpool midfield tonight, the same midfield that has also seen us beaten 3 times..

Have to admit is was a huge save from Allison to deny Napoli in stoppage time.
Gini was immense in the middle!!

Everyone played really well to be fair, looks like how we have been playing for the first third of the season is entirely tactical to conserve energy for nights like this. Even Mane was good despite not being able to shoot.

Some shocking results tonight - Ajax 3 Bayern 3 and two men sent off!

United, Juve and Real beaten albeit in nothing matches. United rested many players for Sunday which is bad news as a Liverpool fan :(

Who cares, just goes to show Mourinho's ambition as a manager. Had a great chance to win the group and miss out a lot of the big teams (and their only way of playing Champions League football next season), but instead decided to rest a lot of players for their cup final this Sunday.

Last 16 Draw:

Schalke v Manchester City

Atletico Madrid v Juventus

Manchester United v Paris St-Germain

Tottenham v Borussia Dortmund

Lyon v Barcelona

Roma v Porto

Ajax v Real Madrid

Liverpool v Bayern Munich

All the English teams bar Man City for a difficult draw.. shock! Think the Spurs and Liverpool games will be fairly even and could go either way. Absolutely no way I can see Man Utd going through.
Tough draw for us against PSG, I doubt we'll go through but no English team is winning the Champions League this season so we might as well go out now instead of spending the whole season deluding ourselves and then losing 3-1 in the final.
We're out, probably Spurs as well. Pool have a decent chance but think they'll need a strong win at home in the first leg. Another 2 friendlies for City given how awful Schalke are this season.

You'll have fun in the Europa League next season at least!

Think it's wrong to say an English team doesn't have a chance, think this year is wide open. Personally from my perspective I think it's wide open this year, nobody really sticks out and all the bigger teams have their weak spots which can be exploited.

I can see Man City going through, Liverpool just against Bayern. Spurs will either give Dortmund a run for their money or go out feebly as for Man United, in the form they are in at the moment, they have no chance against PSG.
