July 22, 20188 yr So Michael Van Gerwen is already out :o Beaten by the lowest-ranked player in the tournament! Yesterday's results: Adrian Lewis 10-8 James Wilson Dave Chisnall 10-4 Keegan Brown Michael van Gerwen 6-10 Jeffrey de Zwaan Michael Smith 10-6 Jonny Clayton

July 23, 20188 yr Author It was Gurney who beat West who missed 11 match darts to win. Second time that De Zwaan has beaten MvG he beat him in the UK Open.

July 25, 20188 yr Author Simon Whitlock 11-7 James Wade Mensur Suljovic 11-8 Ian White Rob Cross 8-11 Darren Webster
July 26, 20188 yr Author Quarter-Finals (Best of 31 legs) Jeffrey de Zwaan v Dave Chisnall Joe Cullen v Gary Anderson Peter Wright v Simon Whitlock Mensur Suljovic v Darren Webster Cross has been inconsistent since he won the World Championship. His form has been up and down.
July 27, 20188 yr Match of the tournament last night between Cullen & Anderson - what a pesky fly! This contest has a habit of giving someone that BIG breakthrough - welcome to the big time Jeffrey de Zwaan.
July 27, 20188 yr Author Thrilling match between Cullen & Anderson it certainly was. Best I've seen Cullen play and a fantastic 9 darter from Anderson. Another great win for Jeffrey de Zwaan against Chizzy.
July 28, 20188 yr Author Jeffrey de Zwaan 12-17 Gary Anderson Peter Wright 13-17 Mensur Suljovic An Anderson v Suljovic final then, repeat of last year's Champions League final.
July 28, 20188 yr Indeed! Had forgotten that despite the fact I was at that event - Anderson was outstanding tonight save for that first period on doubles so credit to De Zwaan for getting as many legs as he did. Anderson for me tomorrow 18-12.
July 29, 20188 yr Author Absolute classic this was, Well done Gary Anderson. 21-19. The best World Matchplay final ever probably. Take a bow, Mensur who played this part in a terrific final.
July 29, 20188 yr Absolutely tremendous match, that initial comeback from Suljovic from 17-13 down was insane then that bull bounce out! Edge of the seat stuff. Definitely the best Matchplay final although 2013 runs it pretty close too. Anderson now the third player in history to achieve the triple crown after Taylor & MVG.
July 30, 20188 yr Author Yes it is up there with 2013. But I think the best Matchplay final I've seen. I think Mensur will win a major title sometime soon although has he missed his best chance?
