For those whinging about the 3 for £5 offer its quite common - I've seen the likes of U2 and the Manics (to name a couple) doing this before!

which is packed full of stories of alien girlfriends, teenage mobs and broken hearts,

Dear God, what is this? Some kids fairytale book?

What did they do??!!!

I want to know too. No-one will tell me.

The chart on Bonfire night next week, it will go like a BANG
silly fuc**ng public dont know what good pop is. ga should be no.1 and mcfly 28. :P i just heard i think were alone now by girls aloud on the radio, different lol. but good :)

Some "boyband" called The Beatles hold the record for the most consecutive (Eleven) UK#1 singles between 1963-1966.

...and where are they now?? :)

This song is alright really. It just sounds like it should be number 5, not number 1 and the way it got to number 1 is frustrating for any chart purist. Obviously marketing is never equal for all acts, and creative PR should be praised, but this has just pi$$ed everyone off.

Guess what, you can go on a certain boyband's website & pre-order their new single (a cover of an old Bette Midler track) for £1, and hey presto, in a week Monday's time, they will send you the track direct to your PC, etc, with the sleeve and have a load of instant sales (a la Mcfly) on the first day of sale.

:puke2: :puke2: :puke2: :arrr: :arrr: :arrr:

Hate to break it to you but the chart is based on how many copies each single sells. McFly sold more copies than the others therefore McFly are no 1 and Tarts Aloud are at 3!

Is that all it is? The sort of people who'd pay £5 for all 3 versions would be manic fans who'd buy all 3 versions anyway so it's hardly a cheat.

I agree. The charts are fair in that they reflect actual sales - I think the Girls Aloud track is better than the McFly song but it sold less copies so that's why it's lower. Nothing fairer than that.

Second No. 2 for Fedde Le Grand after success in Hungary (this week down 2-9)

If Fedde..whatever is No.1 next week, i'll lose all hope in the british public! <_<
Anyway, it was great sales for the top three this week.. if it was a different week Fedde or GA could of easily gone to #1, so it's quite good really :P
Is it airplay or sales in Hungary? :).
