Ashley's dance easily should have been a 40 :wub: Craig ruining it again ffs, 3 weeks in a row now. I think both this and her foxtrot should have been 40s, but this in particular.

 

Is Shirley ok tho, "change of energy" it's a jive love what else is she meant to do? :lol:

Bruno's 9 for Joe has to be the most ridiculous score all series, absolutely laughable :lol: I don't really care if the dancers mime the words or whatever but he was legit counting the steps as well as looking down at his feet, it was really quite laboured and that took away from the flow and sway of the samba, it was probably my least favourite of the night :/ There's a lot to be said for the enthusiasm and attack he has, which is the good thing about many newbies/amateurs, but he's still got real problems, when you look at Stacey for example and even Lauren, they're ironing those faults out at a much quicker pace.

 

 

Should be Danny/Joe in the dance-off but I can see Danny/Kate. It's never that straight forward though so I've got that horrible niggling feeling Stacey might dip into the bottom 2 :drama: I was really impressed by both Lauren and Charles this week, particularly the former who took a huge step up!

Yeah Ashley's dance was breathtaking. Craig's breathing comment was way too pernickety and unfair!

I feel like he's maybe saving his 10 for Blackpool so it's a moment? :lol: Idk, he hasn't really had a reason to give Ashley a 9 rather than a 10 twice in a row now, especially when it's a new style for the show especially, I don't see how he can pick quite so much.

 

Stacey is a fair bit ahead on the Strictly Spoiler poll, Ashley second! *.* Danny, Kate and Graeme a clear bottom 3, obv it's just a small poll but could give some indication of the public vote.

I'm normally team Craig with his critique but he was waaay too nitpicky with Ashley's dance, it was a VERY rare occasion of a dance actually moving me :heart:

I’ve only really been watching clips of this year and so I’ve just checked out Ashley’s dance after all the rave reviews I’ve seen. But I that’s when I realised it was contemporary, a dance style I’ve hated from also seeing clips from Dancing with the Stars and I’m gutted it’s now an option over here. I just find it so cheesy when every dance containing the push away from the partner and the shocked faces as they walk backwards away from their partner with their arm stretched out towards them. It’s such an easy way to get points for those already technically trained as dancers (whereas other styles such as say tango, samba are more difficult due to the technicalities)

Ash's dance last night was the most clear 40 of the series so far. Bye Craig :puke2:

 

Faye's Jive was brill and Lauren and Charles danced the best they have all series!

Thank god for that, he just came across as so arrogant, you can tell he was livid at his scores, comment and fate in the bottom 2 :lol:

Okay Kate’s quickstep wasn’t that bad, probably one of the more memorable dances for me :lol: Ashley was the clear best dance with Lauren in second.

 

I didn’t notice Joe counting until Liam pointed it out and now it’s so distracting :drama:

It was all I could focus on, and I don't think he's *that* good anyway to make up for it. I'm beginning to think he's going to walk to the win though :drama: He's got the amateur spin, plus the fanbase, it's going to pretty much be his fanbase vs Stacey being really likeable and I think the former will win out :/

 

Agreed about Kate! She's great at the faster paced dances like that, I think I just love Aljaz too much though, he's definitely my fave pro. So precious <3

Aljaz is hot as BALLS but I can’t help but think that his choreo is inconsistent? Like look at the quality between this and last week’s dance when he dragged her across the floor for two minutes and called it an Argentine tango

Not sure if the dances have been announced for this week yet but Faye and Giovanni will be dancing the Paso! :wub: Hopefully she can get back to the highs of her Jazz, that's by far my favourite routine of the entire series.

Also, Danny skipped It Takes Two the other day and apparently won't come back for the final :lol: Even if the rumours weren't true about him and Amy (Amy said on ITT they weren't, it was all really exaggerated), he is really coming across as bitter and it's not a good look. He was top of the leaderboard ONCE, bottom twice in a row, I don't know why on earth he is so entitled.... You can tell he was livid at not being saved, he couldn't hide it.
