From what I saw Derby were by far the better team, Everyone was going on about Mason Mount but Harry Wilson has been excellent for hull last season and Derby this, would like him to get a chance at Liverpool. That free kick was absolutely magic, if ronaldo had done it the media would be raving but it's all dominated by Jose and Pogba leaving the game early!!

Burton Albion through to the quarterfinals for the first time in their history.
Played well even if forest are clearly focused on the league, Liam Boyce was immense apart from the penalty miss!

What was the final score?

1-0 to Burton,

Other game, Man City through on pens against Leicester City.

I fully expect Man City to get Burton Albion in the semi final draw if recent tournament draws for them are anything to go by!

Haha Burton can enjoy it whatever!

Hope Liam boyce starts!!

Nearly Mack is 2-0 in injury time here. Sokratis, Xhaka and Ali look like getting s/off they look so up for a row lol! And Ali scored ancracker to win it!

Hopefully AFTV will be back to it's brilliant best tonight after that result! For all the talk of "22 games unbeaten" & "we've got our Arsenal back" they're not that much different to when Wenger was managing them in his twilight years at the club.

Yes they are the manger is getting a lot more out of them this season hence they are challenging for the top 4.

Semi-Final draw

Man City Vs Burton Albion

Spurs vs Chelsea

Swear to God Man City have got the flukiest cup draws in all these competitions so far. Not that I am one for a conspiracy, but we all know some draws have been fixed!

Amazing tie for Burton though that, if only they could do a Bradford 6 years ago!

Emery is doing well at Arsenal, I really expected them to have post-Fergie-esque collapse like we did but they are still up there at the sharp end & doing the business in Europa. Their defence isn't much better than ours though they've just a few big hitters banging the goals in up top.

The difference between Arsenal and United is that Alex Ferguson left when we were at the top of English football, Arsene Wenger left Arsenal when they were on the decline so their next manager was never going to have a David Moyes level of performance. If you look closely there is hardly any difference from when Wenger was there, the season before last Arsenal challenged for top 4 until the end of the season even while fans were protesting and flying banners over stadiums. Arsene Wenger even took them to the semi final of the Europa League last season as well.

Yeah I kinda agree with that too, I think it's a fair assessment. Their defence is terrible, I mean what they were playing at for the 2nd goal tonight I'll never know. They've been majorly flukey in a lot of games this season. The fact they haven't been leading once at half-time this season shows either Emery hasn't quite got things right yet. They have lots of quality players though who can change games and that is obviously what has got them through. I think the big difference to Arsenal this year is the Emirates is not as toxic, for the first time in years the stadium is united instead of divided so I suspect that probably rubs off to the players too.

I think Emery has a way to go and I thought they might drop off a cliff too, but they have a good shot at Top 4 still or challenging for the Champions League through the Europa League.

Yeh true Houdini regarding Arsene challenging not too long ago. Think it's the natural way with a new manager and as Rooney said getting the fan base behind new ideas, it'll be interesting when he properly gets his own team in!
Looking forward to seeing Liam Boyce start for Burton against city. Used to watch him for my local side cliftonville weekly and he was such a player at Irish league level, be nice to see him against the best!
