Wtf, I thought it'd be way better than that :/ It felt like a lot of people on Twitter etc were watching for the first time in ages, I know that's not a representative sample but I had a good feeling... Christ :/

@ellishillion

When our gorg Ellis was extensively vetted before going on #BBUK the producers knew about her past tweets but they still allowed her to go on the show because they wanted people from all walks of life and beliefs. And that was Ellis’ thoughts about Pakistanis. X #EllisHillon

@ellishillion

Definition of racism “prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.” My sister just said that Pakistanis stink that’s not racism. It was a joke made by my sister. #BBUK #EllisHillon

I shouldn't laugh but LMAOOOOO you're not helping your sis hun

The line up initially looks good, they all appear they will have something to add to the show.
I mean MAYBE I could've believed she was 14 and has changed, god knows what we all probably joked about at that age, but the way her sister is responding is making it sound like that's her general attitude but it's ok "she's not racist" :drama:
WHO is looking after Ellis’ twitter? :lol:

Her sister :lol: I'd cackle if her sister made it worse and got her kicked out.

I'm always a bit iffy about kicking people out on past things, if they vet that extensively they shouldn't have them on in the first place, and sometimes such as Andrew from BB17 it's for practically nothing. But I suppose sometimes they make a wrong call and if someone causes a fuss with the audience for what they said or did prior and it was missed by producers or they overlooked it, they have to sometimes go back on what they decided.

BBUK's official Twitter has confirmed she's been removed! Mess :lol:
Surely the guys doing checks should be in trouble too,they should have copped this before they let her become a housemate.

If their vetting was as extensive as it was (I feel like Emma/the autocue was trying to make a point when that was said), they'd surely realise that tweet(s) like that would cause a reaction from the public?

Just caught up on the launch show and this is looking like a promising series. Although there's not much diversity in terms of age range, it feels like they've certainly tried their hardest to find some of the biggest/best personalities out there. Really liking most of them at the moment!

You'd think so! If I'm cynical I feel like they did it to get some headlines before anything really had time to happen, if they did actually vet people. If someone on Twitter can find it within hours of her going in, I'm sure that the casting team they obviously will have to specifically do that got it easily. It's a bit disappointing in that case because that's something that Channel 5's bastardisation of BB would do, just like they did with Tila Tequila (tbh there was even less excuse for that as it was on her wiki page that was spoke in support of Hitler etc), like a step back almost. But if they really did miss that then the casting team is obviously far from as good as we thought they were :lol:

Ellis has set the record for the shortest stay in BBUK history though, Tila was ejected a few hours later in the day on Day 2 :lol: Must be one of the shortest in the whole world!! I remember reading that someone in the Belgian version left after an hour because her ex was in the house, and someone from Big Brother Germany left after something like 6 hours. EDIT: omg I'm screaming, I've googled her and apparently she was like "I just wanted to see how the house looked in real life" and swanned off LMAOOO

From ones I've actually seen, Big Brother US has had two people leave on the first day following competition, but Ellis is right down as one of the briefest stays!
