all this talk of ACR in the chart forum yet again has got me thinking, quite a few of my personal chart runs feature songs charting high for ages before rapidly dropping off. here's my biggest example... ages in the top 20 then a swift exit from the chart (before re-entering but still quite low down)

Avicii ~ Lonely Together (feat. Rita Ora) | 3-3-3-2-2-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-2-1-1-1-3-6-17-1-1-1-2-4-5-10-9-9-12-18-14-14-12-16-14-2-2-4-8-9-9-10-11-20-23-35-35-58-74-90-x-67-74-...

also:

MK ~ 17 | 43-16-9-6-4-4-4-3-4-3-3-3-3-3-7-11-33-5-5-7-9-14-15-20-18-21-25-23-21-26-26-32-38-77-96-96-75-65-78-73-88-74-74-77-51-59-46-49-59-65-72-...

Sudden drop out the top 40 (iirc in the week after Avicii died but it never fully recovered when all the Avicii songs quickly dropped off) then managing to stay stable at the bottom of the chart for a while.

and

Andrew Rayel ~ Horizon (feat. Lola Blanc) | 35-13-10-8-5-7-8-16-7-7-10-11-11-12-17-23-29-36-39-51-63-84-x-84-82-...

basically quite a few songs seemingly stay in the top half for ages but then make a quick exit altogether, do you have any chart runs that look like ACR was seemingly applied to it at some point?

In short, YES. It's kind of calmed down now but in the first year of my new format (aka doing whatever I liked) I just threw songs out of the Top 10 when I'd had enough of them. Here are some examples:

Avicii ft. Vargas & Lagola - Friend of Mine (24-14-1-1-2-3-2-2-7-8-7-17-39-43-50-56-62-60-74-60-59-54-63-86-100-xx(9)-67-4-18-44-98-xx)

Kelsea Ballerini - High School (10-4-3-3-5-27-60-70-82-84-xx)

Oceans - Deep Blue (8-1-2-2-5-28-71-79-85-xx)

Somewhere Anywhere ft. Claude Eman - Back Together (45-27-16-12-10-8-36-44-45-76-87-xx)

CamelPhat & Elderbrook - Cola (51-38-13-7-5-4-3-1-1-5-8-9-19-34-46-82-86-77-81-xx)

Chicane - Gorecki (35-24-19-9-6-7-4-7-24-43-50-61-93-xx)

Owl City - Lucid Dream (37-2-1-1-1-2-2-3-4-5-5-7-8-15-37-45-64-57-69-91-85-96-xx)

Plus numerous other songs falling from the Top 10 after multiple weeks there into the 20s and 30s :P

I don't understand how some of you do them to have such long chart runs! Things on mine are rare to last more than 6 weeks as I change up my main playlist every week.

So yes I guess I have natural ACR just based on my own taste. A rule I use as well is anything older than 2 years past release doesn't chart except in outstanding circumstances.
