Posted August 31, 20186 yr We know that September will see Kylie headline Radio 2's Live in Hyde Park concert and the promotions for BBC Music Day, as well as commencing her Golden Tour. There's also talk of another single being released in the run up to Christmas, so it seems the Golden era will continue up until the New Year. What's your hopes and predictions for Quarter 4? Should we expect an appearance on Strictly or the Royal Variety Performance? Any more music videos?
August 31, 20186 yr I think they should release Music's Too Sad With You as it is the perfect Winter single. Ideally, Jack Savoretti would be available to help promote it, but if not, Kylie could duet with various people and possibly get a Strictly or X Factor promotion slot. With an album re-release the Sigala duet could be ideal to help promote the album too.
August 31, 20186 yr The next dingle regardless of what it is needs good promo and it would help the album especially if a real release is going ahead. Good promo slots are always available in the coming months.
September 1, 20186 yr Im hoping there will be a lot more promotion of the album and exposure through various shows etc. Even if the album does see a reissue, without proper exposure she will struggle to make much of an impact which would be a shame given the glowing reviews and a true return to form. I’d like to see the album reach 200k but think it’s highly unlikely to achieve that now. It would be great if Kylie released a singles collection like Steps recently did including all the singles with remixes and a few bonus tracks but I think it’s highly unlikely to happen! September 3, 20186 yr My Q4 wishlist (All daydreams :lol: ) *MTSWY released as the winter single with Strictly, Graham Norton etc., promo - makes the Top 40 due to physicals *Sigala/Kylie on the XF final to premier the single *Album re-issue gives us a new cover, new tracks and multiple formats *Singles box set released *Remix album of ‘Golden’ What will actually happen *MTSWY will chart at #98 *The Sigala track will be cherry picked after the album is released and there will be no promo resulting in a #73 chart smash *They’ll whack 2 new songs and a remix onto the end of Golden and it’ll reach #53 *We’ll never see another physical single release from Kylie again *They are still trying to recoup the losses from Boombox :lol:
