Darkside is a decent choice of first #1 (will be interesting to see what you think of it in a couple of years though as a landmark #1 :P) Just entered my Top 40 this week actually! Know most of your Top 40 actually! All except the MSP ones, Hidden and Hope - giving International Blue a listen now, a nice alternative track (in fact I HAVE heard this before, just no idea who it was by) the chorus reminds me a bit of Talk by Coldplay. Vislat Nyar is an interesting choice considering how long ago it was released and the fact that there are no other Eurovision songs in sight! I did quite like it though even though I've no idea what it's about (it peaked at #40 in my chart - if I'd not forgotten about Nova Deca it would've just missed out :P ) Great chart :D

Yeah I've loved almost all of Alan Walker's releases so far so he's a great choice to represent the early stages of this chart with the first number one! My top 40 is pretty mainstream on the whole, Hidden and Hope were both BJSC finalists actually, and entered despite me not taking part because I really liked them on first listen. International Blue is one of my favourites of the year so far and I see what you mean about the riff reminding you of Talk. Another classic there Pete! Viszlát Nyár is pretty much the only song in Eurovision this year that would have made my chart (sorry to any average cypriot greek singers). Understandable that you don't know what it means considering it's in Hungarian but they did actually release a roughly translated English version of it called 'Summer Gone' which you can find if you're interested. Hi Dan!! Glad you love so many of the songs on here - you know I'm really glad Lucid Dreams eventually made the top 10 too! Thanks for including it in the reverse round of NMTBJ as well! :D Interesting to see your opinion on Mantra as well, I love how R1 put it straight on their A list even though it's not a hit. I usually dislike when they put complete non-hits on the A list but this is a very welcome exception - I've been a fan of BMTH for years and still love the new stuff they put out! I was verrrrrry late to the 'Faded' hype (despite Alan Walker being from the same place as me and everything :kink:) but this one was very instant for me. Au/Ra clearly works really well on dance features! Other huge favourites here right now are: 'In My Mind', 'Panic Room', 'Jumpsuit', 'breathin' and 'Promises'. Also, I haven't listened to 'I Fall Apart' in a little while but it's definitely my favourite Post Malone song, shows such a special side of him. Great stuff ^_^
