Your chart-topper Be Alright is decent, looks like it's closing in on a place in the UK chart too. I notice In My Mind, Lost Without You and Happier all entering your top 100 this week as well and hope they can climb in the coming weeks!

Don't Wreck My Holiday is a good tune too, but not on the level of NDTB or CYLM tbh :/

Nice to see Promises just sneak into the top 40! Hope it climbs here, it's really hit me this week for some reason, sooo funky and addictive :wub: would love it to make number 1 officially!

Nice number one in a sort of Lukas Graham stylee, the new Suzi Island is also not bad, though not as big a hook as Show Me The Way, the groove may be more in tune with 2018.

 

Yay at Promises in at 40, big climber for me this week that one, and good to see The Kooks return.

 

Suedey will be please to see FUR enter, it's bubbling about under my chart hoping for a space (it would be in the 76-90 range if I was doing a 100) :lol:

Be Alright is slow and incredibly catchy, that's where the Lukas Graham-ness ends for me :lol: I guess they're both artists with a similar genre though, I don't think this would have touched my chart in 2016 though! that FUR song has dropped out this week but their new song has entered my Top 100 - thanks John!

'Favela' is a pretty decent track, I've really liked everything Ina had put out this year. It's got no chance of being a hit of course but I'm enjoying it!

 

Surprising to see the Calvin & Sam Smith track so low down, everyone else seems to be loving it. Personally though I think it's a weak track and I hope it doesn't get to #1, it's nowhere near the quality of the bangers he's put out in the past :( even One Kiss was much better!

 

Yet another great new song from The Kooks, I'm loving the witty chorus to 'Chicken Bone' :lol: judging by what they've put out so far the album is gonna be one of the albums of the year!!

Well yesterday I would've said it was a certainty that Promises would reach #1 but that shock chart has got us all doubting! The chorus to Chicken Bone is just so random and that's what I like about it, looking forward to giving the album a listen today - thanks Mango!

Not a fan of much in your Top 10 I'm afraid, apart from the brilliant Favela :)

 

Kodaline aren't as good as they used to be but Head Held High is actually pretty good. Will still give the album a listen when it's out, I'm sure there'll be a few decent songs on it.

 

So have you heard the Kooks album yet? I just finished listening to it and I think it's great! Only a couple of fillers really, but other than that I'd give it a solid 7 or 8 out of 10 :D I'd be interested to know what your fave song is, I think mine is Pamela!

Still not heard your #1 song yet despite some discussion about it across the board, let me get on that soon :kink: elsewhere, I majorly approve of 'Ghost' and 'Darkside' as new entries in your top 40 :heart: the former really hit me hard in BJSC. It already sounded good on first listen but then the lyrics reallyyy jumped out on subsequent listens, it's a very striking piece of music. I wish it had won BJSC 107 but third is nothing to sniff at! 'Darkside' is then my second favourite Alan Walker song already after 'Sing Me To Sleep', definitely on the Au/Ra hype train at the moment.

Well I was counting Sarah Aarons but she's a feature on The Rubens so she might not count :lol: Also Hilltop Hoods (plus Adrian Eagle) and The Aston Shuffle now I'm looking further down your chart but they aren't exactly hits for you rn :P

Gorgon City are great but One Last Song is one of their weakest efforts for me to date, I'm glad most of the album isn't going for that Spotify sound.
