This oven ready is some shite

I wonder who in the Tory party actually thought of that. May not have been Boris or Cummings. Quite clever though.

I may not even vote. Wife tore her poll card up and says she's not voting as Labour have such a rock solid majority here.

But there'll be a far better chance with the Tories...

Yes at least his deal should go through and there won't be this cloud of revoking A50 or a second referendum hanging over us.

Whilst my vote is pretty much pointless as I'm in a Tory stronghold, I'm still going to vote.

You never know, people in my area may come to their senses and not vote for the racist, bigoted Tories

Off course you are, which is why you spend 90% of your time bigging up Tory policy and taking a blind eye to their racism, lying views. the other 10% of the time trolling

Trolling implies posting stuff you don't believe, but unless you're telepathic how can you know that?

Having spent a lot of time in countries where citizens don't get to pick their government, I really really hate the whole "why bother" thing.

Regardless of the party you decide on, I really think everyone SHOULD use their vote.

None of them appeal to you? Then go with the one that you feel is the lesser evil.

Hmm that isn't the definition of trolling

100% agreed (even if you're not willing to vote for any of the options presented there is always the additional option of spoiling your ballot to express your distaste for all options).

Then you wouldn't like my probable choice. ;)

Only if the definition has changed recently?

You're not still trying to pretend "I was Labour, but Corbyn..." still, vidcapper?! It is the biggest fat lie in the Tory playbook!! Every Tory boomer says it on facebook.

We've been over this, trolling is content the poster is keenly aware will only rile up those who see it and is not necessary information, rather being posted so the troll can have "a good laugh" at others getting angry, belief or lack thereof is not part of it and I'd say in most cases trolls do actually believe what they post but would rather not admit to such.

additionally, if I were to guess at vidcapper's intentions, I would say that you are very likely now sympathetic to the Tory campaign based on the issue of Brexit and shall be voting for them. However you have stated on multiple occasions in the past that you would never vote Tory as long as you live, and more than being seen as reputable or being a shy Tory, you are more concerned with your word and not appearing as a hypocrite or having changed your mind.

I reckon he's one of the shy Tories.

But on that note, I think we will now see a SHY LABOUR effect. The Tories have been promoted as the party of natural government by the vast majority of the media. During the polling, fewer and fewer have "forgotten" they voted Labour. That, as the twitter thread said, was denial. Shy Labour. The more respectable it seems, the more likely it is that they say they will vote Labour. I think we now have shy Labour voters the polls aren't taking into account. In the 2015 election we still had a shy Tory effect from the polls to the ballot box. The polls still inflate the Tories, as they always did, and tey to compensate for a shy Tory effect, which is now minimal thanks to the media cheerleading. Double-edged sword! What we have instead is a shy Labour effect.

No I probably wouldn't  but I'd still rather you use it ;)

I really hope your right, but I just don't see it happening. :(

What if someone doesn't have time to vote? Some people work 12 hour shifts? Should we have voting over a weekend, 2 full days, as they do in some countries?

Just think, if you vote labour you'd get more bank holidays and heading to a 4 day working week. :P

I've been advocating Sunday voting for a very long time. Voting could finish earlier than 10.00, there would be no need to close schools for a day, fewer people would need to take polling day off work.
