you're treating all Tories comments as fact despite them lying to our actual Queen...

We all know by now that he simply takes everything these Tories say at face value and automatically believes it without question.

I mean, anyone who believes anything Michael Gove says is a total halfwit.

The normal politics of working out trade deals in unfavourable positions for the next seven years. Get Brexit Done is such a dangerously misleading slogan.

That depends on whether you see it as an ongoing process, or an end in itself.

The economy will take 50 years to recover with a Tory brexshit by the tories' own estimates!!

Your flippantncomment about becomong rich is woeful and ahows your vile philosophy. Not only is there no social mobility in a country where it's about family connections with the landed gèntry, but to think that if others befome rich they become I'm alright, Jacks like you, is laughable. Not everyone is selfish.

I haven't seen any such projections, so is that more of your BS?

Riiight.. because it's so unselfish to extract & spend other people's money,,,

How did they earn it? A billionaire did NOT work a billion times harder than someone on min wage. Sorrrry. Another of your right wing lies torpedoed x Anyone who can't spend a few extra pounds - and yes, that's all it is at 80k - a week in tax REAAAALLY needs to have a word with themselves. Your vile post tells us exactly who you are with that hard right philosophy. You want the nhs privatised, privatised roads, no schools except for eton, private police force for the rich, private fire service, private beaches, etc etc. After all, it's selfish to ask for money from those who have benefitted from society to fund these things x

The Tories have made the predictions themselves. We have posted them hrre before, Sea Lion. Please google Jacob Victorian Smogg's own estimates of 50 years for ANY benefit AT ALL to the economy x

Those who are fortunate can invest their money in creating a healthier and happier society. That's what progressive taxation is. None of this 'f*** you, got mine' approach that only dooms those left outside to misery.

You cannot credibly claim that the act of removing Britain from the EU is an end in itself. There has to be life after it. And while politicians spend valuable time figuring that out, the economy and our future investments collapses in on itself as financial centres up and move to Europe and valuable opt-ins that the UK had from its privileged position within the EU are lost forever.

1. Yes they *can*, and many do through charities - but surely you can see that it would be wrong to *force* them to, through state-sponsored 'theft'?

2. That why I *haven't* made that claim, and why I posed it as a question, rather than a statement.

Also, how can the poor debate the morality of "taking" a bit of money from the rich, when the rich have stolen from the poor many, many times, and history is basically a chronicle of the rich stealing from the poor? The rich wouldn't and don't hesitate. Let's have fairer taxation policies instead! #nobillionairesplease

Lol yeaaah no, this whole charity, big society lie from the righr wing like you is just that. A lie. It doesn't work. Time to end plutocracy and bring about a fairer society. A utopia doesn't exist with billionaires.

Oh we are not seriously doing the 'taxation is theft' thing? Charity, where the rich man gives the poor what they need to survive on a whim is wrong on so many levels. Philanthropy is money the rich man uses for social advantage. It is not sufficient. There was some noise earlier today about Bezos donating $98 million. Great and all but it's nothing to him. There needs to be regulation on these things so everyone is paying their fair amount to society - a percentage of what they can afford. If the rich men are taxed they are fulfilling the social contract and using it to create stronger and more sustainable programs of social security.

Little article earlier that backs up the deceptiveness of the Tory slogan.

Choice quotes include:

Those voters who are planning to pick the Tories in the belief that they will never have to hear about Brexit again are in for a disillusioning experience

The transition can be extended to the end of 2022, but a request would have to be made by next July and Mr Johnson has anyway flatly ruled it out, a declaration he made when seeking to persuade the Brexit party to fold its tents. So, very early in the life of a re-elected Conservative government, we would be back to ticking clocks, brinkmanship, showdowns and cliff edges, probably accompanied by a lot of angry cabinet rows about what kind of compromises and trade-offs are acceptable to achieve an agreement. And if there were no resolution by the end of 2020, Britain would once again be facing the calamitous prospect of crashing out of the EU with no deal.

Dear Christopher,

Better hospitals. Safer streets. World-class schools. Let’s get Brexit done so we can deliver our manifesto.

Parliament spent the last three years going round in circles – and getting nothing done.

You’re frustrated. I get it. So am I.

Why are Labour promising the chaos of a second referendum – when there are people waiting three weeks for a GP appointment?

Why are the Lib Dems fixated on the past – when there are people who don’t feel safe on their streets?

Why are politicians still bickering – when there are kids in schools being left behind?

Our manifesto is a guarantee to you. No more uncertainty. No more arguments. We’ll get Brexit done with our deal – and get on with the country’s priorities.

Our deal is ready to go. And every single one of our candidates has pledged to vote for it. That’s because it protects jobs and trade. And it means we can get on with the country’s priorities.

£33.9 billion extra for the NHS and 50 million more GP appointments. So you can see a doctor when you need to, not three weeks after you need to.

20,000 more police and tougher sentencing for criminals. So no matter where you live, you can feel safe when you walk home at night.

More funding for every pupil in every school. So every single child gets a better education, no matter where they go to school.

An Australian-style points-based immigration system. So we can take back control of our borders.

Cutting your taxes. So we can help cut your cost of living.

Labour’s manifesto would unleash more arguments. Our manifesto will unleash Britain’s potential. So why not take a look – and share it with a friend?

You blithering idiot. Every problem is one of the conservatives own making. If you cannot see the wood for the trees then there’s really absolutely no point at all. Enjoy the workhouse xoxo

Now write back to your mate and ask where the money is coming from? You could also ask him what he will do if he breaks his supposed guarantee.

Excellent news.

Lots of good stuff you see and not just Brexit.

What was the waiting time before the Tories came to power? Clue - it was a lot shorter than three weeks.

This is all designed to try and make people forget that this lot have been in government for nearly a decade.

The Tories have destroyed the nhs and will privatise it!! Stop trolling. No one is that thick.

There may be some extra investment in the NHS from private enterprise which is good as it then has more money but it will always remain free at point of entry, point of need by patients. You can pay to go private for anything now if you like if you want treating quicker and have the money. I've been offered an appointment to see a second grief counsellor at £60 an hour within two days but already seen one for 6 sessions free of charge which is all you're allowed. If you're prepared to wait a bit everything will still be available free of charge.

As I've said before, it would be political suicide for any government to sell off the NHS and they just wouldn't dare do it.

I can get a GP appointment in about a week the absolute majority of the time. But I’m registered in Scotland where the Tories aren’t in control of the NHS, it hasn’t been starved of cash and we see the benefits of having local control. Absolutely no one should trust the people who have f***ed it to fix it. For all their faults, NHS England last functioned effectively under labour. They can fix this, not a party who wants to sell it off bit by bit to the lowest bidder

We can get one within about three days but it's one of 6 GP's and may not be the nice lady one I usually see and who knows me as she's very popular and booked up 3-4 weeks in advance. We can get a telephone appointment to speak to a GP the same day usually by booking online at bang on 8am.

Chris - you are right that they won't sell the NHS off. But they WILL sell the contracts off from non-profit to profit. So what happenes then? People (the USA) make money from our publicly run services and drive up the costs of prescription mediciation.

You could also ask him what he will do if he breaks his supposed guarantee.

Well like any decent man would do he will resign as PM if they don't keep their promises.
