Same. The production is excessive in places and the campaign was handled badly. But I find it immensely listenable.

 

I like 'Sexercise'. And I will not apologise. :lol:

 

'Sleeping With The Enemy' is a highlight too.

I'd recommend 'Sexy Love' as it's very reflective of sound of the album, and also a definite highlight. I prefer a couple of others, but they're less representative.

 

And make sure you always skip 'Beautiful'!

The en masse dislike for Kiss Me Once is something that'll always mystify me. It's far from perfect but for me there's enough great tracks included for it to be a worthwhile entry in her back catalogue. Fine, Feels So Good and If Only are my favourite three album tracks off it. :heart:

Sexy love is one of the better songs but I still don't love it, les Sex I do like but overall the songs in the album are forgettable.

Kiss Me Once in hindsight is probably about half filler-ish and "business as usual", but there's enough goodness on it to make it worthwhile and I have happy memories associated with the era (like seeing her 3 times over the course of it).

Kiss me once and kylie Christmas are really battling it out this round.

It is neck and neck with them since the round opened.

Which ever of the two don't leave in this round will likely leave in round 2 unless there is a surprise when the votes transfer.

If it's out of Kiss Me Once and Kylie Christmas then I'd probably vote out the latter, but I have a feeling Let's Get to It ranks worse for me, I've just not listened to it in so long to know for sure.

 

What bothers me most about Kiss Me Once is that Kylie wasn't in the best state of mind at the time and that came across in promo and some of the songs. There is a handful of genuinely good songs on there though.

Kylie never seemed fully behind the release and she also appears to have distanced herself from it.

Exactly half of the albums have at least a vote and the other half remain on zero.
