This from Machine Gun Kelly, which recently went Top40 in the UK at #31. Not very often that a diss track goes Top40 over here, I don't think. This about Eminem where he responded with 'Killshot.

What do you think of this?

He had one hit last year which only took off because of Camila Cabello and was the rent a rapper for a Little Mix song.

Clearly needed a relevance boost as he'd been forgotten about already and what better way than to make a diss aimed at the GOAT (except clearly it won't work in the long run)

Oh dw I did actually know of him (Bad Things was a bit of a tune actually) but it always amuses me when these relative nobodies try & take on legends of the genre. Reminiscent of when Pusha T (someone who scored a feature with Pixie Lott no less) went for Drizzy - at least that one had a bit of substance to it.

Pusha T is a decent rapper though, plus he'd already worked with Kanye, Pharrel, Kelis, and of course Pixie Lott :kink:

MGK had one minor hit because it featured someone who was fresh out of a popular girl group, and then went on to release a lazy album of him basically just repeating Bad Things and/or trying to be Post Malone

I guess fair play to him for trying to boost his name, I mean you can try all you like but no one can bring Eminem down apart from himself (see: Revival ;))

Respect to Pusha T, he's an icon. The Story Of Adidon is one of the best things that happened this year, Drake getting called out for being a deadbeat dad is immensely funny.

(also you could listen to DAYTONA 4 times in the time it takes to hear Scorpion once, and you'd have a better time ~)

This has to be the most complimentary diss track anyone has ever made  it's not awful as a song tbh (certainly would much rather listen to this than his shite pop rap singles) but he's been utterly demolished by Eminem here and it's highly amusing. Bye ~

And tbh if anything it's Drake coming for Pusha T that's comparable to this, not the other way around. Obviously Drake is more successful but he has nowhere near the credibility that Pusha has. (I have no clue how Pixie Lott got Pusha T to agree to do a feature for her lmao)

I imagine it’$ the $ame way Loui$a got 2 Chainz ;)
Well obviously :P I just mean that was a pretty uncharacteristic sellout moment for Pusha T. He's not 2 Chainz. x

This is the weakest diss track I've ever heard. He spends 50% of it admiring him.

'The Story Of Adidon' has gone down as one the best disses of all time. If this was back in the day where diss tracks could actually end careers and not promote them, Drake's would have been over after that.

Anyway apparently both artists are on Interscope and MGK recorded the diss track 6 months ago, I imagine a lot of this is just being set up by the label to bring attention/$$ to both.
Czech Republic must be the only country where the radio stations spammed every MGK single that came after "Bad Things"

Honestly this and it’s kinda pathetic that you guys are falling for this

you guys are calling this Swish swish and Eminem is Taylor Swift

yes it’s boosting their profile but it doesn’t take away the fact that this is the pettiest thing ever

this is coming from someone who loves both artists

oh this is definitely really petty of both acts but I must admit I do love Eminem's response track so I'm glad we at least got that out of it.

"rap devil" is a superb song...

Eminem needs to sit back, take note, and re-learn his craft from this song...

unfortunately though, ive heard nothing else by MGK that comes close to this one

Makes you wonder if he can come back from this, Machine Gun Kelly following Eminem's response.
This is so weak compared to Killshot, Eminem well and truly won this rap battle!
