I like the original but this remix improves it for sure and it's definitely a version she should consider performing live. The sparse production of the original doesn't translate live / Cheryl's vocal isn't strong enough or charasmatic enough to pull it off.

#77 in the official charts this week, 3 weeks top 75 and 4 weeks top 100 so far.

She has Michael McIntyre's Big Show on next Saturday.

She would have always struggled with streaming but I really think they made a mistake choosing something so minimal and risky. They should have played it safe with something semi-basic (the 2018 Spotify sound, something like Ellie Goulding came back with) and gone from there.

 

More chance for a moderate hit with all the promo they had lined up.

So Cheryl's last promo slots for the year are tonight (Jingle Bell Ball) and next Saturday (Michael McIntyre). I wonder if they will begin to re-push this in January once the Christmas songs have faded away as even with her high placing on HHUK (#15 excluding vertical videos), she's not been in the top 200 for a few days

 

I love the dance break in Love Made Me Do It being the Initial Talk Remix, the song actually comes alive. I wish they pushed that version instead.

 

Also has she just bagged Jax Jones for the next single? That wouldn't be a bad move for her.
