Spoke to someone at O2 today who confirmed that next year will see 5G networks roll out in the UK and new and existing mobile users will be able to benefit from the fastest wireless network to date.

When I spoke to Three about upgrading my contract they said they were skipping 5G and just going straight to 8G from 31st June 2020
