Would have been good for her team to plaster her social accounts with links to streaming, vinyl, cassettes etc., to pick up on Pride interest.

Be great if she goes silver this week and then start the process of getting to gold.

With how sales are in the market, it could be near Christmas before the album can reach gold.

That said, if a new 3 disc set is released in that lucrative Q4 and backed with promotion it has the potential to be a game changer.

Hopefully the album will go at least Gold although I think it’ll be a while before it does - I’m sure Kylie is going to take a long well deserved break after the summer tour, Pride and Glastonbury! Hopefully as BMG have said they’ll be lots more promo coming in the future though to keep this selling into Q4.

Taken a tumble on iTunes now (#32) and Amazon - hopefully we will get a climb this week then I can see it falling each week as there is nothing to support it selling with promo finished for now, I’m still confident it will hang around at the lower end of the charts for ages though.

Easily will manage weeks on the lower end of the chart.

This week and possibly next week are the 2 weeks i want it within the Top 20 region of the chart.

Don't forget BMG want this to sell until Xmas so must have some more stuff coming

Yes the definitely have more coming I’m sure it’ll be a while before they push anything on us - they will allow it to sell off the back of Pride & Glastonbury for now before the next phase.

 

I do think we’ll get another picture disc vinyl version as they have left the ‘sold out’ sign up on the picture disc on the website rather than removing it totally - they done the same with the initial ‘Golden’ cassettes, seems like it is their way of creating demand (Plus the picture discs are selling for anywhere between £130-£180 at the moment on eBay!).

I think CD re releases are best way to boost cds when they offer something good and they missed that trick with golden. Hopefully itscsomething they do for SBIT.

Disappointing not to register a sales increase - maybe we were expecting too much from Pride, yes it is a big event but has never resulted (yet) in big sales uplifts as a result of performing, I don’t think Britney got a chart boost?

It is likely many of the people there may have bought the album already.

Yep we all know it's tv promo that works for Kylie and when she chats and goes into radio 2 studio etc lol.

 

Let's hope it clears 3k but maybe nearer 2.5k

Its always good having kylie on the chart as it adds excitement.

I enjoy tracking Kylie's chart movements and i look forward to the midweeks when acts such as Kylie who i am a big fan of are appearing on the chart.

Are we now facing a no climb week, i predict number 19 or 20 on the official chart.

That said, it should remain Top 20.

 

down to 63 on itunes its lowest position yet. lets hope it can sneak top 20 again but maybe not.....

 

time to reduce the album to £6.99 on Itunes and CD £7.99 for a few weeks :)
