Cher at no2 with 14,011 sales.

That's incredible!

In 2013, 'Closer to the Truth' opened with 14,621 sales, so for 'Dancing Queen' to sell the same amount in 3 days (when she is not even in the country for promo - unlike Rod) is absolutely fantastic. :cheer:

WOW at Lady Gaga at number 10. :o

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but I have a question about ACR.

If a song was released several years back and did well but there is a remix of it being released this year and promoted would the OCC take the original off ACR or would SCR only apply to the remix?

I'm pretty sure it would only apply to the remix.

Wasnt expecting gaga at @10
I could see both Shotgun (due to ACR) and Gaga falling out of the top 10, replaced by Freya and Panic! by Friday tbh!

Oh dear that's TERRIBLE for Sigala [album] :( I guess he just doesn't have age on his side!

But thrilled to see Happier at #2, it seems too much of an ask to oust Promises off the top before something else rides the crest of a wave there but great to see it become Mello's highest peaker here. Bastille meanwhile are fast becoming the new Sash!

Really surprised Sigala is not in the Top 10! Both the vinyl editions on his official website have sold out and he also has the advantage of an artist who’s fan base streams plus the album is basically a Greatest Hits with the amount of singles he’s released from it
Where did Shotgun bounce back from?

He performed it on Strictly Come Dancing results show last night, so probably a beneficiary of that too.

Not too terrible a start for 'Moves', it's about what I expected first week.

What do you mean by age? :P

He's not exactly old, only 25 (most DJs are much older)! Or do you mean the age of the songs?

Think he means the older acts like Rod Stewart and Cher seem to be selling more albums (unsurprisingly).

Sad that Sigala can't even go top 10 though.

Dance albums always struggle

Not surprising x Sigala
