I meant maybe if they'd released the download the same week as the physical was released (the week it peaked at #3 officially), as I swear there was about 4,000 copies between the whole top 3 that week.

Yeah unfortunately she was a bit stuck wherever she could have released. If released earlier, she'd still have been stuck behind California Gurls. Just unlucky that it was the World Cup.

I enjoy 'Kids' from time to time, but it's not an essential for me and it always feels like tedium when she performs it on tour (especially solo - surely the whole point in the first place would be to bring on a special guest to perform it with her?)

I like 'Kids' but, as much as fans say it gets everyone going when performed live, I found it slightly underwhelming when performed on the Golden Tour. Was a bit too stripped back for me; I was wanting a full-out rocky moment, bit like when the band perform 'The Chain'. Don't mind backing singers doing the Robbie bits but it could at least be a male vocalist as a big part of the song is the chemistry and sexual tension between Kylie and Robbie.

Totally agree! Kylie seems to love performing it but she has equally as big (and better) hits that she misses out. Didn’t like it when it was released and still feel the same now!
