So much promo, it's almost a year since the song is out and its still EVERYWHERE in the UK.

I remember last year Rak-Su did really well on iTunes, why don't they count for the official chart?

The X Factor performance songs have always been chart ineligible, and they used to even go one step further and remove them from the iTunes chart too. I think this is a decision made by The X Factor too, the OCC were happy to let The Voice songs chart.

No - I can't remember if they even released performances this year, I don't remember any making the iTunes chart.

 

We got a few making the chart in its first few years but then streaming took over and The Voice started declining in popularity anyway. I'm amazed Ruti actually managed to get as high as #14 officially and #1 on the sales chart too.

Thats sums up how far streaming has come a sales number 1 only reaching number 14 official

That's an incorrect update. Happens every day.

Looking likely Sigala is going to get another top 10 hit this week with Just Got Paid, Meghan hasn’t had a top 10 here since ‘Marvin Gaye’ which was over three years ago.

Yes, but that’s probably because Promises’ sales have dropped since price went back to 99p rather than Shallow increasing on sales.
