I’m almost certain she’s going to end up being revealed as Banks’ wife.

To post spoilers you need to choose ‘Wrap in Box’ from the + option, and then choose ‘Expandable’ from the cog settings at the top right of the box itself once you’ve put your text in the spoiler. Mak

    Got it, thank you!

That'd land well with Grace I'm sure 🤣

I had wished for a bit more to Marie finding out about Arlo but I'm glad she does know. Intrigued to see if Ro has been talking to Arlo as "Nina" or if it's someone else, my money is on it not being him.

So Nina is real! Great episode in support of trans rights today, right down to the detailing of the having the trans flag in the opening credits and ad stings.

I struggle to believe anything that comes out of Arlo's mouth now, even if his chat with Marie felt genuinely sincere.

This coming week has to be the end of this trafficking stuff now, as has been said already the pacing is just really off for the show at times and in this case it’s been prolonged for so long without much happening. I expect the big reveal of Clare being Banks’ wife (“my wife had an accident and can’t have kids” as well) might kickstart the climax and we can be rid of it? I can only hope

The Sun are reporting Tom Cunningham returning.

(How on earth do you do spoilers on here??)

When you find out let me know I also struggled finding this!

I'm not too surprised at that return however; they weren't a character I liked much (one of those who worked well as a child then in adult stories really showed their limitations).

But they do share a lot of history with Mother Clare!

Make sure your title is Spoiler so the spoiler doesn’t show as the title, and then add your text in the field below.

It’s long winded but all we have for now unfortunately!

Oh yeah, I think with the time jump and it being so up and down I’ve been frustrated more than anything and completely forgot about the anniversary, which I’m sure will be big. The Ro episode proved there is still plenty of life and the show can still excel, there are lots of flashes of it so hopefully they nail it and stick the landing for the anniversary too.

Not seen the ep today as there's been technical difficulties with Channel 4's streaming but I can see Clare is now back then from the social media posts

Not yet, they kind of revealed/spoiled it too early, even though it was blatantly obvious to everyone lol

I assume she will be in tomorrow’s, I would bank on her being shown the end tomorrow as a big gotcha moment and then properly next week as Grace goes looking into things once it all crashes down.

I know we all say this all the time but Isabelle Smith really does run rings about like… 95% of soap. Like the top of Eastenders (say Lacey Turner, Steve McFadden, Diane Parish, Kellie Bright, Angela Wynter) that’s it. She is kind of wasted on this show because she is next level incredible.

A lot of great stuff surely to come with the aftermath of this week, that ending was pure camp soap cinema cheeseblock I hope there is anyway after the past month or two of the show being a bit of a drag and going round in circles.

I've really enjoyed this week's set of episodes because of the sole focus being on the one storyline (even Ste/Lucas' story didn't detract). It's times like this where I miss it being on for 5 days so we could get some more of the action

Okay so I've watched back Clare's "death" and whilst it's very believable at the time, I can understand the way they're playing it. Banks was in the show at the time, just not on screen for her death so the explanation kind of works. We'll ignore her obviously deceased/very well "acted" state laying in the road once Paul had hit her with his car 🤣

Whoever decided to bring her back deserves a knighthood/damehood for services to television

Spoiler

Bobby Costello is returning having been recast to Zac Sutcliffe (Waterloo Road) in the role

Hannah Cheers has shared some early details about the soap's upcoming 30th anniversary

"You can’t do a Hollyoaks commemoration without some kind of spectacle. So there will be a stunt."

The Hollyoaks boss also spoke more broadly about what fans can expect, sharing that it will be a month-long celebration that will satisfy longtime fans of the soap.

"In that week, we want to make it a celebration across the whole month really because we can't physically fit all of the characters into that," Cheers explained.

"So that's why it kind of becomes a bit more of a challenge in terms of which stories that you really want to hear about and focus on."

"But obviously there just needs to be enough of a sense of nostalgia in terms of Hollyoaks' origin story and everything that we love and know about the show," she added.

"But then also the kind of characters that are going to be able to shake things up and create jeopardy and danger and spit things out in a different way at the end of that."

Cheers went on to say that there'll be "can't take your eyes off the screen levels of energy" but also moments of both sad and happy tears.

Fans should also watch out for the third episode of the week, with Cheers promising: "There is something else that will be a huge delight and a real nod to Hollyoaks' origin story.

"That will happen in the third episode of the week, which I absolutely cannot talk about, but is going to be incredibly exciting."

Teasing a showdown between villains Jez Blake and Clare Devine, Cheers said: "Well, yes, obviously we’ve got two kind of Hollyoaks titans here."

"We’ve got kind of very iconic Hollyoaks faces. And it’s not an accident that they are both in the show in the run up to the 30th anniversary."

I am so so fed up of this Jez rubbish, hopefully the anniversary is the end of it. A serial killer plot with absolutely no substance, and I don’t even know what they achieve with it. Like Sienna deserves better and she has Tori and Dodger back anyway, it feels like Jez and Martha just filled in a gap until they came back but they’re dragging it all out anyway. And another failed relationship for John Paul? Groundbreaking. Him vs Clare is kind of giving Lindsey and Silas, Clare would be next level iconic even more than she is if she bumps him off lol
