Can I ask what you mean by promoter in Bangkok? Do you have a link?

Thanks

There is an influential and reliable 20+ year old western music magazine, dead and resurrected a few times due to digital technology and the book industry was struggling. But for the 80-90s kids this is the one, lol. They've been resurrected again online earlier this month. Also, one of them is a former channel V staff which was big back when the western music was flourishing in Asia, he had dealt with many western artists before, very experienced and insightful. So when the promoter is testing the water, they're one of the key choices. They stated that, the promoter had asked would you be interested in the spice girls tour after the pandemic? Would you come? Because the rate of the girls is quite high. As far as I know, to book the big artists to play, they have to compete against other countries in the region so they're probably testing if it's worth it but most of the times Bangkok always gets one.

I see. Thanks for letting me know

Such a shame they’ve only done shows in North America and Europe over the years. So many other places fans want to see them. Fingers crossed for 2021

They really did Wannabe justice last year. Probably their best. Geri's line 'Where is she' is ICONIC!!

Poor Geri she really has no rhythm at all bless her... even in the slam your body down and wind it all around her arm is so limp and lifeless. I mean she gave so much to the group in other ways but considering she had A LOT of dance and singing training after getting into the group it makes you wonder how the flipping heck she did it in the first place!?!?
She might be Thatcher Spice - and that will forever be a thorn in her legacy - but Geri is such an integral part of the group that even her lack of performance talent is kind of iconic lol

 That Wembley video is from the show I went to! Seriously one of the best days of my life, I don't care if that makes me sound sad lol, but I'm amongst Spice fans so I'm sure you wouldn't think it was sad :kink:

Sigh, I can't believe the tour was a year ago already, and how the world has changed since then. The thought of being in a stadium now feels very odd. I really miss last year :(

Today is exactly one year ago that I saw the tour in Edinburgh! Cannot believe a year has passed already, but what an amazing experience this was. I can honestly say it was the best concert I have ever attended, two hours of pure and utter JOY <3

^ So glad you enjoyed it! I feel the same in that I think it's my favourite concert I've been to.

I really want to go back a year and experience it all over again. Two of my three Spice date anniversaries have passed now - 27th May in Cardiff and 3rd June in Coventry.

Cardiff was incredible (I went with JosephStyles, amazing to share the experience with him *.* ) and at that date we were in the tiers, so therefore got a side view of the overall production. Plus with it being the first, my excitement was through the roof and I had avoided spoilers beforehand!

Coventry - I was in the circle... I was towards the right at the front, so nearer the main stage but close to a part of the catwalk. Not a great view for when they were at the front of the catwalk, but good for everything else. I enjoyed this date in terms of being more familiar with the set list, so I was able to absorb more of what was going on. One downside to where I was is that people were constantly going backwards and forward to buy drinks or go to the bathroom, which became a bit irritating because it was pretty distracting.

Thatcher Spice :puke2:

Yep it is more documentary filmed stuff, hopefully we will get the awarding of the plaque clip when we get to Wembley anniversary.
Such a shame we didn’t get some kind of concert/documentary dvd with a little booklet of all the images of the tour. It would have made a great Christmas present for 2019
Their chemistry is amazing and it's still there even when 24 years later, so natural and magical without trying. Me, waiting for the end of corona patiently.
Such a cute clip! I really wish we could see everything they filmed.

How cute

I forgot to post about Wembley - I went to the middle show, the 14th June, and it was one of the best experiences of my life  I was very near the part of the circle where they come out of at the start of the show. Seeing them up close, it was absolutely magical  I'd give a lot to relive that show again!

It being a year since the tour ended... ugh, it's gone so fast. :(

I am loving reliving the tour via the girls' Instagram posts. It feels SO long ago now with everything going on in 2020 so it's lovely to reminisce; the 'Spice World 2019' tour was the most fun and uplifting tour I've ever been to and a huge tick off the bucket list (if I had one)
It's such a shame they have never done Wembley as a 5piece yet such a testament to how huge they are that they have played multiple dates there with two different 4 piece line ups!!!
I think by the time we are all in care homes they will have done more as a 4 piece than 5 overall.
