Christmas Isn't Christmas Till You Get Here needs its time!

I'm still waiting for an advert to pick that up, it's perfect for it.

An EP of the original Christmas songs could be a good to get some recognition. At Christmas, White December and Christmas Isn't Christmas should all be classics!
Christmas Isn't Christmas Till You Get Here cd single and vinyl to get it in the charts which just might help it pick up more attention, could be worth a gamble although i would think there is more of a chance of Dannii having a top 10 hit than Kylie releasing and pushing a single from the Christmas album.
I wonder if this will get reissued again. Sia has just reissued her Christmas album for about the 4th time with extra tracks.
Im not sure, part of me feels kylie has distance herself from the album but maybe im wrong.

I’ve always thought that - I guess it was an album she delivered so she could fulfill her Parlophone contract and move on, I’ve always found it a little frustrating that her social media team don’t even give it a plug online each year.

I’ll always wish they’d had more faith in the original material and chosen a new song as the first single. It was such an under confident move to go with a cover.

Like, why deny herself the chance of having a new Christmas staple? Imagine if Leona and Kelly had released covers instead of One More Sleep and Underneath the Tree? It would have been madness. And that’s how I feel about how Kylie Christmas was handled. Christmas Isn’t Christmas Til You Get Here or White December were right there. Grr!

Granted the Snow Queen edition promo started with At Christmas - but it was too low key. No music video. Not a big enough push to make it truly happen.

Oops at her version of Santa Baby being bumped in favour of Madonna’s! It’ll be interesting to see to what extent that harms it in the UK singles chart.

If I was Kylie

Sometime in Dec

Festive EP

1 Hold On To Now (Festive Edit)

2 Christmas Isn't Christmas

3 Wonderful Time of the Year

4 Santa Claus is coming to Town

Stick 3 CD singles out for £1.99 each in the same week

They would be silly not to do a 2-3 min Kylie Xmas on An Audience with that they can easily edit out for the rest of the year...... would work very well in December on ITV.

I hope we can get at least 1hour 15 or 1 hour 30 ITV slot. With clever editing they can pack in songs and chat

The thing is, as we know Kylie Christmas was released through Parlophone, so it's likely not going to be a priority whatsoever for Kylie to keep the memory of Kylie Christmas alive. That's down to Parlophone. If she was still with Parlophone, then maybe she'd make the effort. There's no way BMG and Parlophone would join forces to release a Tension single and Kylie Christmas hybrid EP.

I honestly think if she did do a Christmas song for An Audience With, it would simply be for the sake of doing it because of the time of year, rather than specifically "let's do this so we can boost Kylie Christmas".

Oh 100% but that itself would be a boost. I don't know how all the publishing, ownership works etc. I was thinking more to boost Hold On To Now by adding it to an Xmas EP etc lol

All this, but I guess back then UK centric Christmas albums were still in their infancy so they probably thought a classic was the way to go? Also, Kylie seems to be long over the Christmas album now - her social team didn’t even mention the fact that the album had been reissued on vinyl last year (they did give a nod to SB at the last minute though).

Hopefully Kylie will get a boost this year on some of the other Christmas playlists and she’ll get a boost for SB or one of the other tracks.

Completlely fan fiction, but I wonder if Kylie has secured one of those Amazon exclusive Christmas singles and this is why SB has been removed from playlists.

Even though I’m usually anti the Amazon payloa Alexa hits I’d be here for this

Definitely a contract obligation type release that probably won't get much of a mention from kylie going forward.

We've all been asked to put in song requests for our work Christmas party and of course, I have chosen 'Christmas Isn't Christmas Till You Get Here'

I will make this song happen, somehow!
