He surely must be happy as to how it has gone so far ....

Say he does another residency in 2020 though - wouldn't he get bored?

He's a man who moves on very, very quickly

the money, I guess. I saw on twitter yesterday that the cards for the last new gig sold also fast. Las Vegas will possibly not the way to break the US. He would need a spot o n AGT or a show like this to get country wide exposure. America is for sure in his eye now. He has a family to take care for.

I don't know Elisabeth- I'm not so sure - he posted something recently - I can't remember exactly what it said - but the gist of it was that if he became well known in US that would be good but if he stayed unknown, that would be better. He knows it would be bad for his mental health. Although now he's older, he would only have a certain level of fame there. It wouldn't be like 20 years ago.

Maybe it's a case of "be careful what you wish for"

Things change when you have a family, maybe he is happy with his lot in LA , America is a big place to break , does he want it at this stage of his life & anyway I like when he concentrates on Europe ,,,

I guess part of him does because he's so ambitious still - but I wonder if the idea of it is more appealing than the actual reality and the consequences?

Someone asked him today which had been the highlight of his career - Las Vegas or Knebworth?

The feeling of Knebworth was magic. In my mind Vegas is just an experience where the greats once performed so has to be special but nothing in comparison to Knebworth , I think everyone knew something special happened at Knebworth , I could see that even though I was only watching it on tv , it was special

It's not the same at all in my mind - Knebworth shows the artist I like RW to be. Edgy, sharp, unpredictable.

I'm not keen on the larger than life spectacle of the whole Vegas vibe - I'm really not interested in a feather boa. Less is more in my book. B-)

Knebworth is something you would never forget ...

Hey folks!

I promised you to reveal my concert's review and my story about the trip to Las Vegas in March.

Here it is.

It's in Russian but I believe Google translator works rather well :)

Hi Alex,

I wanted to give your review into Google translator but I could not copy it. It is kind of protected.

Is there any trick to do it anyway?

By the way - we know each other personally. We met in 2014 in Stoke-on-Trent on the very first Fanfest. We lived in the same hotel and visited some of the events together. I hope you remember me .

I have good memories of this trip and I hope I can now participate a bit in your Las Vegas experience.

Alex

Thank you so much for posting the link to your exciting Vegas trip , it cannot have been easy making all those arrangements to head to Vegas but it was surely worth it , sometimes you need a bit of luck for things to go your way & for you it was meant to be

Amazing you got to personally meet Tim Clarke & present your RMXS disc to him & then to meet Robbie's Mum as well , such great memories of your trip

I love your comment about Robbie being lucky & can afford to have several careers at once & be a different artist for different audiences , that is so true

I can't get the Google translate to work. It doesn't open for me. :arrr:

Lundi - I went to the first Fanfest too. Not to the evening do - we went for a curry in Burslem  But we really enjoyed Gabi's art exhibition - did you go to see it? The pictures were brilliant. We went to see the Blue Plaque outside Victoria Gardens and laughed a lot. I have really lovely memories of such a very happy weekend. ^_^

Laura, try clicking the British icon at the top right on the website or right click your mouse & translate option should appear , I could do both & it worked , it's a great read ...
