"Joining Momoa is comedian Bill Bailey, there to chat about his latest show Larks in Transit, and Little Mix, who will perform their new single 'Think About Us'."

Sooo, 'Strip' confirmed promo single then? I'm in two minds about this; I massively prefer 'Think About Us' but it's clear to see how much the girls adored ''Strip', and it would've been nice to see them opt for (and potentially smash with) something more experimental. Hmm.

Good girls

I don't get it, one of the main reasons why they argued with Syco was due to 'Strip' not being lead single, yet they get a new label and they can't even make it single two? It's doing well on iTunes / streaming and could actually be a decent sized hit! No idea why they are promoting 'Think About Us' when that could be a successful third single while I feel if they tried to promote 'Strip' as third single it wouldn't work at all.

I've done a complete U-Turn on this. It's infectious, it's bold, it's daring & different. I really think it'd work as single 2! It's holding up surprisingly well for "just an album track" on streaming. Plus all this Piers stuff is bringing attention to it right now, they should capitalise on it and I genuinely could see this being a smash for them. The controversy of performing a song like this on 'Strictly' would potentially be huge (although 'The Cure' would be perfect for Strictly and Graham Norton)

These girls know the tea, ffs. The label need to listen to them in all honesty. They have a habit of making the original worst choices for singles WORK. 'How Ya Doin'?' over things like 'Turn Your Face', 'Red Planet', 'Madhouse'... BITCHES MADE IT WORK. 'Hair' over the likes of 'Weird People', 'Grown', 'Love Me Or Leave Me'... BITCHES MADE IT WORK.

Ugh I love them sfm

Admittedly a run of Wings > DNA > Stereo Soldier > Red Planet would've been far superior to what we got for the first era, but I won't take this 'Hair' slander when it shits all over every remaining album track on GW :P (and I'm saying that as someone who was clamouring for a 'Grown' release - horrible idea in hindsight.).

'Strip' is growing on me massively too, but I'm still not convinced it would've smashed. It was being buoyed up by being #1 on NMF and the video effect. It's in the 80s now that it's lost the top 50 exposure. #25 is still a really impressive debut though.

EVEN THE NOTION of Grown being a single

'Hair' is such a "I never understand why it was never initially a fave, but omfg it bops so hard since being a single" for me  (Similar thing happened with Nicole Scherzinger and 'Right There' for me haha.)

I want them to release 'Wasabi' with a Piers Morgan lookalike in the video.
OMG YES. I envisioned a similar thing to Britney - If U seek Amy haha.

I thought Hair was adored as a single choice?

Probs by a couple of people, but I thought the general consensus was (at that time - maybe less so in hindsight ) we wanted 'Weird People', 'Lightning' or 'Grown' as a single as 'Hair' was cute, but not much else. But then the remix happened and gave it a new lease of life.

Grown...shudder. I do not get how stans loved that so much. Truly a child-bop. Hair was really the only option left on Get Weird.

Get Weird is easily their album with most single choices.

Weird People, Lightning, OMG, Love Me or Leave Me, ADIDAS and even Grown with a rap remix.

Sure, some of these wouldn't work on radio, but hey that's what we all said about Power and it's approaching 1M copies sold in the UK :kink:
