December 24, 20186 yr Seems that Amazon have a decent share of the streaming market, these days! All of its streams will be premium because there’s no free option on that platform like Spotify. Plus it helps that it’s on SCR amongst a considerable number of ACR tracks. I'd seriously love for Spotify's share and monopoly to be reduced.
January 2, 20196 yr It could be argued that it being an “Amazon Original” exclusive new release meant that it ultimately stood to receive more attention than it might have done if it’d been an ordinary release across all platforms. Amazon went all out with promoting it to ensure that many people would become aware of its existence (certainly Amazon’s users, but also beyond that - for instance there were billboards that cross-promoted Cozy Little Christmas and Alexa). I don’t think it’s worth entertaining the idea of it becoming widely available tbh. It belongs to Amazon and I’d be surprised if the exclusivity deal was solely for one year, but I suppose time will tell.
January 2, 20196 yr Even if it is widely available Spotify won't be putting it in their playlists because they're salty about songs that are initially exclusive to other platforms (see Katy's own 'Rise') so it ultimately won't affect her chart position much. Don't like the song though so hopefully it is forgotten next year. :kink:

November 6, 20195 yr First time hearing this in full.. It's cute. But it's a bit... I dunno the right word but maybe plain? Like it doesn't make me want to rush back and replay it like many other Christmas songs etc.. I like it though. As I said, it's cute.
