All its sales count towards its total regardless of its ACR status or if the OCC decide to remove Xmas songs from the chart entirely, an OCC rule change won't affect the song's ability to go Platinum.

I know that..I was referring to the fact that with streaming going bigger every year they could change the converstion to one sales

This arbitrary rule makes no sense and goes against what the UK chart was all about!

While this is a very valid point, I do think generally speaking the days of us having a truly representative chart are behind us.

She made the top 30 this week!

I am hearing this song everywhere I go this year. (Apart from Radio 1 lol)

So it officially charts at #28 today, its doing so well this year. I really hope it can beat its post release peak of #19.
FYI she would have charted at #13 on the old rules.
How annoying at those bloody rules. I don't see what is wrong with the charts being dominated for two or three weeks with Christmas music at Christmas, if its what people are buying and streaming then it should be represented fairly in the charts.

I think it takes alot more to get it off ACR. I have read some notes from Syco and the Sony sales team has been really pushing OMS this year. I'm sure they could get it off ACR if they could but I think it's difficult..

The acoustic version last year has helped out too, 33% of the streaming comes from Amazon

That is pretty surprising.

Today it has rised to #20 (+1) with 246,994 streams.

#20 on the 15th of December is so good, this is literally getting stronger every year, so so pleased with that.

Spotify - #17 in the UK with 278,877 streams.

#152 Global with 794,660 streams.

#29 Ireland

#77 Hungary

#109 Poland

#119 Slovakia

#139 Canada

#143 Switzerland

#161 Netherlands

#167 Japan

#169 Belgium

#179 Czech Republic

#193 Greece

So pleased with those global streams. Based on Pes' data on the first page (thanks for keeping that updated Pes), OMS didn't break that until Xmas day last year!
