Does it hold up?: Yeah, I haven't quite listened to it that much this year but it's still a banger every time it comes on. I don't know why but I'm always a sucker for a good 21 Savage verse.

9. The 88 - At Least It Was Here

 

 

Does it hold up?: Although certainly not a 2017 song I was loving this last year due to finally getting around to watching 'Community'. The song has been my ringtone for a whole year and I'm still not bored of it so its safe to say it's definitely holding up. Still not sure whether the band's name is pronounced the eighty-eight or the eight-eight yet though. :lol: If anyone hasn't seen Community, please do. It's one of my all time favourite shows.

The Community theme is just a legitimately good song. Certainly that and the Friends theme are the best for me.

 

Rockstar remains incredible, love most of his hits but that'll take some beating.

 

I've been pretty hit and miss with Post Malone but this is definitely his biggest hit for me.

8. Stormzy - Big For Your Boots

 

 

Does it hold up?: Not massively. It's surprising to think just how big this was in my chart at the start of last year. But it shows how big the hype I had for new Stormzy and the album certainly didn't disappoint. However this hasn't held up to become a classic in the same way Know Me From, WickedSkengMan 4 & Shut Up has for me.

Blinded By Your Grace trumped Big For Your Boots by quite a way for me but it's still alright I guess!

I think a lot of people will agree with you there. BBYG certainly seemed to be a lot more remembered too.

7. Migos ft Lil Uzi Vert - Bad And Boujee

 

 

Does it hold up?: Yeah, it's still the best thing they've done by miles. It's all about Offset in this song, Quavo's verse it ok and Uzi's is just very weird.

I agree that BFYB does still go off when you hear it but I haven't heard it that often this year.

 

Bad & Boujee is going to go down as a modern classic I think.

Does it hold up?: Yeah, this and Broccoli never cease to make me smile when I hear them even though they both have surprisingly disturbing Lil Yachty verses. This song is just so fun. :wub:

5. Camila Cabello ft Young Thug - Havana

 

 

Does it hold up?: Hell yeah. Still listened to this a fair bit this year helped out by the album release. Young Thug's verse is a bit rubbish but one of the catchiest choruses of last year makes that totally inconsequential. This does feel like it's forever going to be her signature song, it seems near impossible for her to top this.

Havana is alright still but shouldn't have spent so long at the top of the charts, iSpy remains horrendous.
