Posted December 28, 20186 yr Here is the thread to discuss all the winter transfers throughout the month of January.
December 31, 20186 yr Author West Ham have signed former Arsenal and Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri - on the day he completes a doping ban.
January 1, 20196 yr Hopefully Man United will get some new defenders this month but it's very unlikely. I have the feeling that there wont be many major signings being made in the January transfer window this year.
January 1, 20196 yr Can't see many big deals happening for the top clubs. I'll be interested to see who jumps first out of the bottom clubs who desperately need goals. bar Fulham. Reckon we will see some random loan signings probably too.
January 2, 20196 yr Author Chelsea have signed Borussia Dortmund forward Christian Pulisic for £58m, but will loan him back to the German club until the end of the season.
January 2, 20196 yr Chelsea have signed Borussia Dortmund forward Christian Pulisic for £58m, but will loan him back to the German club until the end of the season. I really like him as a player, but that's a massive price for someone who has shown little consistency and can't even get in the Dortmund first team at the moment. Paying a lot for potential, but no guarantee he will be anything other than a really good player, rather than an elite one.
January 2, 20196 yr I honestly think Chelsea next season are going to be a frightening team to watch, I can see a massive change in players. I can see Sarri trying to do what Klopp is currently doing.
January 3, 20196 yr Author Rangers look set to sign Bournemouth's Jermain Defoe on an 18-month loan deal.
January 3, 20196 yr Only way Chelsea are going to compete is by getting a world-class striker. They potentially have one in Tammy Abraham. I doubt Chelsea will ever give him a chance though.
January 4, 20196 yr Author Bournemouth are set to sign Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne on loan until the end of the season.
January 4, 20196 yr They potentially have one in Tammy Abraham. I doubt Chelsea will ever give him a chance though. Abraham is good, but he’s never going to be world class. Many players can score for fun in the Championship but then struggle in the Premier League.
January 4, 20196 yr Thought the same - could still be a great player. He also gives us something different up top as a target man! They have also signed Clyne on loan until June which is strange - who do we have as cover - Milner??
January 5, 20196 yr Thought the same - could still be a great player. He also gives us something different up top as a target man! They have also signed Clyne on loan until June which is strange - who do we have as cover - Milner?? £19m rising to £25m and we have a buy back clause in there. That's great business. The lad needs to play and right now he's 4th choice. Admittedly in the summer at least one of Origi and Sturridge will leave (if not both). But I suspect this sale is a lot to do with the fact that Brewster is meant to come in to the first team and all the journos are saying we are in the a striker in the summer . Agree Clyne is a strange one, but suspect the thinking is we have Gomez and Milner, plus Camacho as well. Plus again, he needs to play after 18 months out pretty much. .
January 5, 20196 yr Author Celtic have signed Oliver Burke on loan from West Bromwich Albion until the end of this season.
