January 11, 20196 yr One More Sleep will probably be the only time she’ll ever make the singles top 100 again unfortunately. Really gutted at how her success wasn’t sustained. The artist with the worst single choices in HISTORY for me. So many amazing album tracks on every one of her albums snubbed in favour of singles what just didn’t take off. Yeah definitely, there have been so SO many bizarre decisions every single campaign. I'm pretty sure we'll see Leona back in the top 100 again, top 10 on the other hand would be amazing and right now not something i can see happening soon sadly... Edited January 12, 20196 yr by Karma

January 13, 20196 yr They chose some ridiculous single choices for Leona and passed over We Found Love which was a huge hit for Rihanna! Shame, she really deserved to create a legacy in the same vein as Whitney, Celine, Maria etc. Her voice is phenomenal.
January 13, 20196 yr One More Sleep will probably be the only time she’ll ever make the top 100 again unfortunately. Leona is far from being in a position never to crack the top 100 again. A huge hit single is not likely but even Snow Patrol could get a top 100 song last year. Having said that, you only need to look at acts like Panic! At The Disco who got their highest charting hit last year over 10 years after their last major hit. You never know what the future will hold. You Are The Reason only just missed the top 40 and it was the duet that was the main selling power, so interest is there.
January 15, 20196 yr If Leona releases the right song at the right time with the needed promotion she could make it to the Top 100. It is hard for her to do well with all things considered. In another time, her recent duet with Callum Scott would have easily went top 5 in the charts.
March 12, 20196 yr Just to clarify when I said I doubt we will see her in the top 100 again OMS aside I meant on the Spotify / Apple Music streaming charts as this is the title of the thread. I do think she may possibly get a top 75 / low top 100 smash peak with the lead of her next album (like a #22 on sales, 87 officially kinda hit) but streaming wise she’s not gonna do too great unless she has big Payola even promotion wouldn’t help an artist like Leona on streaming. I’m a big fan of Leonas but I know singles wise she’s not gonna trouble the top end of the charts no more. If she does promo however I feel she may get a top 3 album like what Didos set to do this week. Edited March 12, 20196 yr by Jordan Lee
March 12, 20196 yr I honestly believe they could have pushed 5 singles, which I know is a rare thing back then, if they actually put the effort in. I would have done the following: 1st - Glassheart 2nd - Come Alive 3rd - Trouble 4th - Fireflies 5th - Sugar Honorable mentions to Shake You Up and Un Love Me which could have also worked as singles under the right circumstances. Glassheart as lead single would’ve really put Leona in a far better position. It would’ve changed the whole perception of her amongst the GP who wrongly put her in the beige category.
