YTD Sales : Please read these guidelines before you request sales estimates, it makes my task a lot easier.

 

1. Be specific - please name the artist and title for each entry you'd like an estimate for.

2. I log sales for all albums that have charted this year, but only update those that have sold enough to reach my 200 position tracking range

3. If an album isn't in the current Top 100, I won't be able to update its sales until Tues. Also, please don't ask about ex-T100 albums too often - once a month at most)

4. Remember to check the thread before requesting estimates - they may already have been answered. Also, no more than half-a-dozen requests at a time, thanks.

5. Please note my figures are combined sales & streams, and since I have no way of separating them, I cannot provide a split.

6. While I am no longer estimating singles sales, I can provide YTD singles positions from C+, and I am still maintaining my sales archive based on published figures (PM me if you want to see it)

I can definitely see George having another couple singles after Hold My Girl which should keep it going throughout the year. Hopefully it will get the 300k+ it needs this year to get there before 2020

Yeh he will do very well at the Brits which will keep him top 5 until April imo but not sure how many singles they'll release - I think they'll have Pretty Shining People with an mid march impact and that'll be it. Bit like Ed with Happier last year!

BTW, does anyone think I should change the credit to 'Motion Picture Cast Recoding' rather than Lady G?

 

I described it the way I have because there are already lots of cast recordings around, plus I'd actually recognise it as Lady G, rather than MPCR. ;)

^I think so, for Burlesque it's not credited as Christina Aguilera so motion picture etc sounds right.

I'd say use either Motion Picture Cast Recoding, like the occ does,

or Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper

 

but just Gaga alone is wrong, half of the songs on the movie are duets and then

Cooper also sings 4/5 tracks solo if I remember well
