February 13, 20205 yr Love that he finally decided to release this after leaving it off the album - it’s now available on streaming and iTunes etc.,
February 13, 20205 yr Author Yeah he's also confirmed it's the last song of the Hypersonic Missiles era! So the next actual single will likely be the lead for album 2 - I can see that coming at the end of this year hopefully.
February 13, 20205 yr Yeah he's also confirmed it's the last song of the Hypersonic Missiles era! So the next actual single will likely be the lead for album 2 - I can see that coming at the end of this year hopefully. :o I was only thinking this past week that "Call Me Lover" and maybe even "You're Not The Only One" and "Leave Fast" would've made good singles. I can't keep up with what was released pre-"That Sound" though  "Hold On" is alright, I can see why it was missed off. What a great first era anyway, I'm totally into it now.
February 15, 20205 yr Author I found this fantastic performance from 6 years ago! A man commenting then got it spot on with "Sam Fender - remember that name!!" 415dTQSKgq8
February 15, 20205 yr He has (half?) jokingly promised another load of Bruce Springsteen rip-offs for his next record and that's absolutely fine by me!
February 21, 20205 yr As expected ‘Hold Out’ didn’t hold on to its Top 100 placing (It was #95 in the first mids) but along with The Brits exposure it’s helped the album return back to the Top 40 at 32 after being 43, 42 and 41 for the past few weeks.
March 17, 20205 yr UK tour confirmed as cancelled today which was due to start on Friday - obviously the right/only decision.
March 17, 20205 yr Author Sam's has some really bad luck with his tours being on - none of which being his fault of course.
March 24, 20205 yr Dead Boys EP on vinyl has been reduced from £14.99 to £8.99 on HMV (Worth it for the Dead Boys Prelude alone  ) https://store.hmv.com/store/music/vinyl/dead-boys-ep
March 25, 20205 yr Sam has announced he's releasing his live lounge cover of Amy Winehouse's 'Back to Black' tomorrow: H0TNRBI8ZaM
March 25, 20205 yr Brits Critics' Choice winner Sam Fender has confirmed his debut album will be out later this year, he's also re-releasing Play God as his next single: NJL7VcnFZB0 Really looking forward to the album!
March 26, 20205 yr oh great cover! just makes you realise how fantastic the original is I like his voice in this one, really can't stand it when he imitates Brandon Flowers but he sings fine here
March 26, 20205 yr So pleased he’s released this as most live lounge tracks are restricted to YouTube and physicals of the R1 album. He’s managed to make the song his own and shows of the best of his voice - really reminds me of Jeff Buckley.
March 26, 20205 yr The have released a video for the song but the R1 live lounge video is obviously far superior - they should have pushed that maybe? biUkV5ijEdw Also the song has made it to Top 50 on iTunes so far :cheer:
April 10, 20205 yr Vinyl reduced to £15.99 on HMV and Amazon... it’s just one of those records that sounds so much better on vinyl like The XX, Tame Impala and London Grammar.
