Well at least we are spared from her doing an Ed Sheeran in the official chart, 9 songs in the top 10 is too much for anyone. Well done to her for such large numbers though.

Looks like she'll have the top 3 to herself anyhow, as 'needy' is well ahead of Sam Smith and Calvin Harris who would otherwise be its strongest competition.

I'm thinking top 2 and Sam/Normani at #3 on Friday.

Although this could play into 'bloodline'/'NASA'/'Bad Idea' favour. As none of them would have charted if they become singles so won't have the struggle 'breathin'' had to come off of ACR...

Why do you hate her so much lol? The album is fantastic, way over 80 on Metacritic. It exactly what an ambitious pop album should be like!

There are WAY worse artists than Ariana Grande that could be dominating the charts right now, so I'm happy. Good to see a proper popstar doing so well.

Those are incredible numbers for Ariana, looks like she'll probably lock out the top 3 this week. Impressive that 'break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored' is confortably #2 already despite being the final song on the album, I expected her to start similarly to Drake where the first couple of songs on the album were initially the highest before 'Don't Matter To Me' and 'In My Feelings' overtook.

 

Poor AJ Tracey being overshadowed when he's done amazingly well with his album tracks too.

"Country Star" is ten times better than anything on that crap Ariana album.

Oh please its ok forpeople to whine and moan about drake but heaven forbid someone sayas something about precious ariana, metacritics means nothing films and albums get high scores all the time and pan, films and albums can get low scores and sell well.

 

I dont not like ariana i like variety in the charts if the same artists are repeatedly dominating they become stale and boring

Ari has definitely had better music than this but I'm glad she's getting the monster success she's earned. Just wish BUWYG,IB could've leapfrogged 7 Rings and given her a third straight #1 hit from the album. Also not impressed Needy is eligible at the expense of Bloodline/BI - why couldn't they have been track 2??!! :lol:
