Biography

Cadet

South London grime artist Cadet (aka Blaine Johnson) grew up alongside fellow MCs Konan, Krept, and Redz as part of the notorious Gipset gang. The teenage crew gained a considerable following across social media toward the end of the noughties with their videos of freestyles about gang life and London living. Using music as their escape, the members all focused on their careers, with Krept and Konan eventually signed to a major in 2013. Cadet continued to plow his own path, and in 2015 delivered freestyles for underground London-based music channel OSM Vision, and suddenly saw his profile skyrocket. Switching his tone from gang-related tales to emotional lyrics about life and its tribulations, Cadet found a new audience for his raps. In 2016 Cadet dropped his first mixtape, The Commitment. The self-released album saw him teaming up with the likes of Donae'o and Tis Rome. Continuing to deliver freestyles for various online music channels including SBTV, the rapper built up a respectable following. Cadet released a follow-up album, The Commitment 2, the following year. Featuring a number of singles -- including "Instagram Girls" and "No More Letters" -- the album cemented Cadet's rise from teenage tearabout to full-fledged grime star. - Spotify

Biography

An MC perfectly styled for the age of Future and Desiigner, Bronx rapper A Boogie wit da Hoodie hit the scene in 2016 with a funkier version of trap rap. Releasing music on his own Highbridge the Label imprint, he quickly found success with his debut mixtape, Artist, which reached the Billboard Top 100. Later signing with Atlantic, he scored big with the triple-platinum single "Drowning" in 2017 and topped the rap chart with his debut full-length, The Bigger Artist.

Born Artist Dubose in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx, Boogie took inspiration from Kanye West and 50 Cent and began rapping during his teenage years. After spending some time in Florida, where be recorded his first songs, he returned home to New York in 2015 and founded Highbridge the Label with fellow rapper Quincy "QP" Acheampong. In March, he dropped his debut mixtape, Artist, which yielded the platinum singles "My S**t" and "Jungle." Just one month later, he dropped "Bag on Me" featuring Don Q. With a Meek Mill and DJ Khaled co-sign soon after and the Highbridge the Label: The Takeover, Vol. 1 mixtape released in May, the Atlantic label signed a deal with Highbridge and issued the singles "Bando" and "Timeless." The TBA EP followed in October.

At the start of 2017, Boogie was featured in XXL's Freshman Class feature. Later the same year, he released his debut full-length, The Bigger Artist, which was packed with guests, including appearances from Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Kodak Black, and Robin Thicke. In early 2018, Boogie featured on 6ix9ine's hit single "Keke" alongside Fetty Wap, then returned in June with his second EP, International Artist, another guest-heavy release that included J Alvarez, Jessie Reyez, and many more. His second full-length album, Hoodie SZN, arrived at the end of the year. - iTunes

Biography

Harlem native Khadimou Fall, known professionally as Sheck Wes, made his name with hostile wildcard rhymes championed by Travis Scott and Kanye West. The rapper and producer started making music as a youngster as he moved back and forth between New York City and Milwaukee. While attending high school in New York, basketball became a major extracurricular pursuit, but he attracted interest from a fashion talent scout that led to him skipping a playoff game in favor of participating in the Madison Square Garden unveiling of the Yeezy Season 3 collection. After he spent some time to reset himself in Senegal -- a trip prompted by his mother, who was displeased with some of his lifestyle choices -- Sheck Wes refocused on music and ultimately landed an Interscope-supported joint deal with Travis Scott's Cactus Jack and Kanye West's G.O.O.D. labels. During late 2017 and early 2018, the tracks "Mo Bamba" (named after basketball star and friend Mohamed Bamba), "Do That," and "Live SheckWes Die Sheck Wes" were issued as the rapper's first three commercial singles. - iTunes

Biography

West London grime MC Che Wolton Grant (aka AJ Tracey) rose through the ranks of pirate radio, becoming one of the leading figures in U.K. grime's second generation of artists. Grant knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in music, due in part to his parents; not only was his dad a former rapper from Trinidad & Tobago, his mother was a former drum'n'bass DJ from Wales. By age six, Grant had started writing rhymes, coinciding with the first great boom in grime. Although the genre temporarily lost its way, Grant soldiered on, unwilling to give up on his passion for grime. By the time he had reached his early twenties, grime had started another upswing. During this time Grant became proactive in his pursuit of radio spots, working his way up through pirate radio before scoring appearances on Rinse.DM, NTS, and eventually even BBC Radio One. With his reputation in the world of radio firmly cemented, Grant released a string of EPs, beginning with The Front EP in July 2015, followed by the Alex Moran EP later the same year. In 2016, he further solidified his status as an emerging talent, with a combination of solid collaborations, more radio appearances, and the release of the Lil Tracey EP. The end of 2016 culminated with Grant's nomination on BBC's Sound of 2017. - iTunes

Biography

Calvin Harris

Adam Richard Wiles (born 17 January 1984), known professionally as Calvin Harris, is a Scottish DJ, singer, songwriter, and record producer. His debut studio album I Created Disco was released in June 2007 and it spawned two UK top 10 singles "Acceptable in the 80s" and "The Girls". In 2009, Harris released his second studio album Ready for the Weekend, which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and was later certified gold by the BPI. Its lead single "I'm Not Alone" became his first song to top the UK Singles Chart.

Harris rose to international prominence with the release of his third studio album 18 Months in October 2012. Topping the UK charts, the album became his first to chart on the US Billboard 200 chart. All eight of the album's singles, including "Feel So Close", "Sweet Nothing" and "I Need Your Love" reached the top 10 in the UK. At the time, Harris broke the record for the most top 10 songs from one studio album on the UK Singles Chart with eight entries, surpassing Michael Jackson. Harris released his fourth studio album Motion in November 2014. It debuted at number two in the UK and at number five in the US and became Harris's second consecutive number one album on the US Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

Harris has collaborated with numerous other recording artists. His collaboration with Rihanna "We Found Love" became an international success, giving Harris his first number one single on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. In October 2014, he became the first artist to place three songs simultaneously on the top 10 of Billboard's Dance/Electronic Songs chart. He also became the first British solo artist to reach more than one billion streams on Spotify. Harris has received ten Brit Award nominations—three for Best British Male and four Grammy nominations, winning a Grammy for Best Music Video in 2013. He received the British Academy's Ivor Novello Award for Songwriter of the Year in 2013 and at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards was named Top Dance/Electronic Artist.

One of the most successful musicians in contemporary British popular culture, Harris appeared on Debrett's 2017 list of the most influential people in the United Kingdom. Additionally, Harris topped Forbes' list of the world's highest-paid DJs for five consecutive years from 2013 to 2017. Harris runs his own record label, Fly Eye Records. - Wikipedia

So that Boogie streaming hit nonsense at 38, good to see it skipped although he shoulda played a new song by AJ Tracey ahead of One Kiss lol!
They skipped a new entry to play a song that became #1 last April...
phresh music

Hasn't grown old yet for me even after 9 months sounding phressh!!

They skipped a new entry to play a song that became #1 last April...

A new entry featuring a person who's facing up to 32 years in jail. I think it's justified.
