February 8, 20196 yr Marina's decision to ditch her diamonds doesn't seem very sensible for her career. Surely even less people will know who she is now? At least some people would have recognised the 'Marina + The Diamonds' name and given the song a listen based on that, now they'll just see her as some random artist called Marina and skip it.

I’m not sure, it won’t affect those who are a fan and then to anyone else, it may suggest an exciting new artist rather than ‘oh wasn’t she the one who released Primadonna, why is she playing’

February 8, 20196 yr Baby was her first release as just Marina (or MARINA, whatever). All her back catalogue has now been renamed under MARINA on Spotify (which she said on Twitter she was pissed off about as she only wanted that for her new material), so it's like the Diamonds never existed. Ultimately it doesn't matter, but I loved the Diamonds tag and don't think she should have dropped it. But then, it's only her fanbase that are going to be truly interested in this project and they'll support it whatever she's called, so again, it doesn't matter.
