26 on Apple Music after only 5 hours 😮💗

I haven't yet had the chance to hear this/watch the video (I will on my lunch break), but I feel like the snake thing has been spoilered. :lol:

He had a 4 hour headstart though and in the last update he was 49 and she was 71 so I'm low-key confident she can overtake him 😮😍

Its a bit meh. Too bubblegum and simple. The video is great though

Love the colourful video! Taylor’s songs are usually a grower for me but this one feels a bit more instant.

I feel this is gonna be one of those songs that gets a quite mixed reaction but SMASHES and is everywhere all year (a bit like can't stop the feeling, roar etc)

Idk. So Usually with Taylor her lead singles are usually my least favourites amongst their albums and I prefer single 2/3/4.

 

It sounds like nothing else in the charts at the moment though and the video is so different as well.

 

I hope it’s another UK #1 for her.

See, I don’t.. she’s ahead of him everywhere except Apple Music.. I think she’ll debut at #1 this week. she’ll only have the 1 week though.. and I’m sure Stormzy will outperform her in the long run (UK only).

Stormzy will probably be more front loaded than this, I could see this being quite a big hit in the long term.

 

It's certainly a lot better than LWYMMD (and preferable to the rest of what I've heard of 'Reputation') anyway.

I can see this having a similar chart run to Shake It Off tbh.

 

Yep Stormzy is getting further ahead on AM now tho ffs 😂 (13 to 19). Though I forgot video streams will count for the chart now, that'll help Taylor massively 💗 LWYMMD did insane on first week YouTube and ME! seems to be doing even bigger numbers there

I think this'll potentially do very well BECAUSE it doesn't sound like a lot that's in the chart rn, a bit like say Sweet But Psycho when there's a lot of mumble rap shite and trappy pop, hopefully people are receptive to a pure pop song that's just fun and doesn't take itself too seriously.

74% lead on US itunes over Lil Nas X and after that she has a 93% lead over 3rd place!!!!!!! Ahhh my fave <3

It sounds like so many things. Emeli Sande, the Panic hit, Jess Glynne, Pink and most of all The Greatest Showman.

 

She'll deff be #1 here even if Stomzy is higher on streaming. Her sales will be huge.
