That's so frustrating because they always perform their lead single at the Brit instead of performing their current single, they did it 3 times.

This Little Mix area has not been at all what I expected after the success of Glory Days. I still believe Woman Like Me was such a weak lead track. Think About Us would have been so much stronger and potentially could have catapulted LM5 to number 1. I still really hope TAU goes top 20. :(

Pleased to see ‘No Tourists’ Top 40 - I know that’s readily available on physical etc., but I did think it might be overlooked and their back catalogue would get the boost.

I don't remember where i read that they didn't want Women Like Me as the first single but Syco pushed the song anyway. Wouldn't be surprised.

TUA as good as it is doesnt scream lead single but woyld still love to see it go top 20 as they up to now havent missed the top 20 with official singles. I dont think WLM should have been the lead either it did grow on me but still probably their weakest lead (shame move is their lowest charting lead as thats probably the strongest)

what they should have done is shop for better songs, they're the biggest girl band in the world, they should have enough $$$ to shop for better songs, TAU is ok but obviously not #1 material or even lead single material, just an ok song. WLM is terrible and no wonder this era is being a huge disappointment overall.

Little Mix are just not that fun girl group with catchy hits anymore who are like the girls next door you want to root for.

 

I'm almost certain they have lost the general public more because of the too full on outfits, over confidence and becoming very American now.

This. Probably their messiest single roll out...ever? They usually have a new singlen ready to go when their album drops. Their team need to get it together.

I agree and LM5 in general is a huge disappointment.

Would greatly welcome the sound of Black Magic returning.

The next album needs to win back the huge amount of sales they have lost with this campaign.

I think LM5 is a better album (as a whole piece) than Glory Days, easily. It's just it doesn't have the 4 or 5 obvious killer singles that had.

I agree. The reason why "Salute" and "LM5" are their worst selling albums is because everytime they try the mature look or sound and try to be too sexy, it just throws people off them. The fact that "DNA", "Get Weird" & "Glory Days" are their 3 best selling albums is because the songs there were happier, funnier, more girly. They were sexy but it wasn't "try hard". Woman Like Me was too american ish with Nicky Minaj, the TAU video is maybe too raunchy, rubbing naked guys, they are so much better than that. It's just not necessary.

Woman Like Me was a big hit. But they basically need another tooth-rotter to sell heaps of albums, Black Magic/Shout Out/Love Me Like You/Secret Love Song etc.

When artists aim to make music with an American sound it usually fails and Little Mix are no exception.

I agree with this.

 

But I think another big problem is the state pop itself is in. It’s a shame they are trying to follow trends rather than setting them. The current trend sucks.
