March 10, 20196 yr I think people are afraid that Plastique’s decision to go with the accent would enforce racist and bigoted thinking that other people can do the same. Which is weird because I DOUBT Drag Race would be the type of show to attract such an audience. I thought Brook Lynn would have gotten the brunt of the backlash considering she threw that idea out and well, she’s white, but she did run it through Plastique. She was a champ about it, and she thought it would work in her favor (which it did).
March 10, 20196 yr Didn't she basically do what Manilla did way back in Series Three with the Accent? and I'm pretty certain there have been a load of other instances too throughout the 11 series. My guess; Plastique is a threat as she has been out of the two shows one of the most consistently strong so people feel the need to bring her down

March 14, 20196 yr I am absolutely loving Yvie! Clearly she has talent both looks and performance-wise, I hope she can be consistent enough to go all the way. She has the whole-package vibe that I love in queens like Dela, Aquaria and Thorgy. I'm also liking Brooke, Mercedes, Nina, Plastique, Vanjie, most of them actually! Just not Rajah or Silky who need to pipe down.
