The less said about 2002 the better. Ellie is clearly capable of much, much more than whatever this is.
April 14, 20196 yr I mean, yeah, the whole return of these nostalgia based songs is because that's like Ed Sheeran's entire shtick, isn't it? Songs like "Castle On The Hill", reminiscing on childhood. This is her best song in ages though imo.

April 14, 20196 yr Ruin My Life has passed 200m Spotify streams WW, that's not as many as Close To Me but not exactly a flop either. I'm really liking Sixteen anyhow, basic as it is. Hope it's another hit.

April 14, 20196 yr I hate how much I enjoy this. It's basic as hell, the whole concept is hideously pandering, and it's probably the exact opposite of what she should be releasing 10 years into her career, but it's also undeniably infectious. I can see it being a hit on that basis alone.
