This was the winning song the last time Buzzjack members were asked to vote for their favourite no.1 singles in 2012 but it has to settle for 30th place this time. Kate Bush was only 18 when she wrote it. She became the first female singer to reach no.1 with an entirely self-penned song.

'Breathe' just beating 'Believe' is extremely satisfying. #26 is a great result, have to wonder if it'd have been significantly lower if not for the recent news but hey.
Surely pretty much the best conversion of result from the first round, I think it only got through by 1 point. Thought it'd be decimated in this final round for being slightly too left-of-centre but #26 is great.

there goes my 11, Into the Groove :/ too bad the new generations are not appreciating it so much

Billie Jean and Breathe were both 10s for me

Kylie's best selling single in the UK. Co-writer Rob Davis had three no.1s in the 1970s as part of the group Mud. He and Cathy Dennis wrote the song for S Club 7 but their manager felt it didn't suit them. I think he was right,I can't imagine them singing this.

right position for Titanium, a classic itself

kinda think the story about putting the song out without telling Sia was a label fabrication to help selling the song :D
