Yeah it's a shame that this has all turned into a complete mess as the show itself sounds like it could be one of her best :(

Report: Madonna Breaks Into Tears After Falling Onstage In Midst Of Injury-Plagued Tour

Injuries continue to plague Madonna during her Madame X tour, with reports that she broke down in tears after an onstage mishap in the midst of her Thursday night performance in Paris.

A report in The Sun claims the 61-year-old pop icon was performing at Le Grand Rex in Paris, part of a 12-day residency at the venue, when a dance move went wrong as she missed a chair while singing “Polaroid”. According to The Sun, she “struggled to stand” and then “burst into tears.”

Madonna has endured hip and knee injuries over the past few months that have led her to use a cane for support, and resulted in the cancellation of numerous dates on her tour.

Fans on social media, however, had differing opinions of what took place onstage with the chair, but all agreed that she began crying “and couldn’t stop.”

Aw no. :( It seems to be one thing after another with this tour. I hope she's okay.

She’s not gonna be playing theatres again!

She’s a name made for bigger venues.

Didn't she struggle to sell out the bigger venues on the last tour? I know the MDNA date in Edinburgh was definitely not sold out.

Arenas wise she’d easily manage I think! MDNA was stadiums wasn’t it?

She cancelled tonight’s show in Paris.

Please get well for Saturday !!

She cancelled on me in Paris Saturday night . She cancelled at 6pm on the day .

Outrageous . I am still annoyed but more upset for me mum whom I was taking .

Then she had the cheek to do the full show on Sunday.

The last two nights have been cancelled because of corona !

This has been a nightmare. I know she wants to make a spectacle of a show still but maybe it's time to accept that it's not as possible as it used to be? I'm sure fans would still love to see her perform with less theatrics.

I get the idea of why she wanted to do smaller venues but come on she’s Madonna!

She’s a name and act made for at least an arena. I hope she’ll go back to bigger venues next era with less shows.

Hope she enjoys a well earned break and rests / heals properly now though. A disaster of a tour though in everything but acclaim. I’m relieved I didn’t try and chance tickets for it now.

This is really unacceptable :( How upsetting for those that had tickets :/

Just looking at how the tour performed at the box office - still not known how it performed in France but the first 67 shows had a 158k attendance and grossed over $46m.

That doesn't seem too bad considering the type of tour this was. By comparison, Rebel Heart had over 1m in attendance and grossed nearly $170m.

Eager to hear news of a DVD. I've just realised that I know nothing of this tour other than pictures and clips on Madonna's instagram. I had forgotten all the gems that had been rehearsed but were dropped - 'Rain', 'What It Feels Like for a Girl', 'Easy Ride', 'Rescue Me' (at least the latter made it as an interlude). I do admire just how much of the album was performed as it's not often artists this far into their career don't just do what is essentially a greatest hits tour.

The DVD will shock people . The tour was still Madonna and it was incredible.

I’d definitely buy a DVD if we get it!

I will say I’m extremely happy now in retrospect that I didn’t manage to get tickets for any of the shows. I just guarantee with me my luck I’d have been one of the shows that got cancelled

Yeah my date definitely would have ended up cancelled if I went!

I'm starting to think I'll never get the chance to see her live though. :(

She will do GH final tour then stop I reckon.

Same here! I've not seen any performances, just some of the snapshots posted by Madonna on social media. Vibe says it's a fantastic show and I've heard from others that it's great vocally too - I just hope they don't spoil it with heavy vocal dubbing and seizure-inducing editing like on the live releases for MDNA and Rebel Heart.
