Really ? that would just evidence that we want it even more, I hope they sell badly (but compensated by cd sales but no loss in sales)

The Green Vinyl will sell loads on its own

i would have sold the cassettes at £9.99 instead of £15 :)

Actually quite excited to see the first week sales - the summer shows haven't even started yet and already it seems like the album is racking up solid pre-orders. Wonder if it could match or even better the debut sales for Golden?

I predict it will have similar opening to sales to Golden and possibly higher.

Green is for Amazon and Independent stores and not available from her website - Australia also have a green vinyl in replace of the picture disc.

I think she’s going to have a really strong opening week - picture disc and £130 bundle already sold out and the green vinyl will follow. Fans will ensure a great opening week and hopefully the GP will pick up on the album off the back of Glastonbury.

With the indications we have to date, i am confident of a strong opening week for the album.

 

 

2 weeks from release :yahoo: The leaders on the poll is for it to reach #1 with sales between 26-50k. Can’t wait to see the first midweek sales.

I still think it will have opening sales of around 40,000 at number 1.Kylie also hasnt had 2 back to back number 1 albums since kylie and enjoy yourself so I'd like that to happen again.

I really wished they’d restocked the vinyl picture disc - easily another 1k in sales to be had from those.

 

I still think it could pass 50k in week 1 - fan buying across 10 formats added to Glastonbury could lead to a massive week as it’ll be fan power and casual buyers.

It's quite spectacular to think the point where she's at in her career, she's looking at achieving two #1 albums in as many years!

Fingers crossed it happens and she does get the number 1.

To repeat a feat she hasnt managed in almost 30 years would be wonderful and once again show that Kylie still has selling power.

If The Greatest Hits can take poll position and her next studio release could do the same she could achieve her first 3 in a row Number 1 albums.

Echoing the above - pretty incredible we’re discussing this seeing as there wasn’t total confidence that ‘Golden’ would reach #1! Really hope that she manages to pull it off and land a 7th #1!

I can’t see this new release doing that well to be honest. Greatest hits are now largely out of fashion thanks to streaming. I know many Kylie fans tend to buy physical editions but this album doesn’t really interest me. I have everything included so it’s not a necessary purchase. I’d be more surprised if it reaches no1 with decent sales.
