May 11, 20223 yr Considering Peter Loraine ran Bananarama's fan club at one point, I think he didn't properly push them to do more probably thinking that it would have that shambolic drunk-girls-on-a-night-out appeal that Bananarama had, except it just didn't work with The Saturdays and it just came off as shoddy and sloppy since they were put together by a (supposedly) professional management.
May 11, 20223 yr it’s also worth noting that they didn’t give themselves a lot of time to rehearse for their performances. those of us that followed them know that there was always something happening with them - biggest thing being the pregnancies, it was a miracle they managed to get anything done. plus, they always seemed to be on holiday  i always thought part of their charm was that they weren’t quite as polished but then when you see some of the bigger performances, i wished they’d put a bit more in it. May 11, 20223 yr Their tumble performance was announced two days before so they wouldn’t have had much time
May 16, 20223 yr Now N-Dubz are even getting back together. Well, N-Dubz had three Platinum albums, one of which was double Platinum...
May 17, 20223 yr Well, N-Dubz had three Platinum albums, one of which was double Platinum... I’m not downplaying their success at all, just poking fun at the fact yet another unlikely group from the 00’s/10’s is back together. Pretty sure Tulisa and Dappy had a falling out and genuinely didn’t think there’d be demand for an arena tour for them. They were popular but thought their demographic was chavvy teenagers.

July 28, 20222 yr Today's date is 14 years since the release of their debut single 'If This Is Love'! VBA2NFgw2ko
July 28, 20222 yr Yeah for some reason the Issues video also has an If This Is Love picture lol, who knows why that mistake happened!
July 28, 20222 yr Yeah for some reason the Issues video also has an If This Is Love picture lol, who knows why that mistake happened! Trick from back in the day of trying to boost the views?
July 28, 20222 yr 14 years! Can't believe that. For all their ups and downs, I certainly didn't think they'd last anywhere near as long as they did when they started out.
July 28, 20222 yr I don't actually miss them... However, I do miss seeing them together. Not a massive fan of Rochelle's 'I hated being a popstar' stance. You can tell Una would give her left leg for a reunion. Of course, if they did reunite, I would be there front row crying.
September 29, 20222 yr I heard from someone ITK today that The Saturdays considered reforming this year, but Rochelle wasn’t up for it.
September 29, 20222 yr Why does Rochelle wanna forget that she was ever in a girl group so bad :cheeseblock:
