What are your opinions ? too high ? too low ? lets discuss

I do like '2 Hearts' but fair placing nonetheless.

To me, there was always something oddly Gerald Scarfe about the 'X' campaign's typography.

'2 Hearts' - not one of my favourites, definitely one of her weakest lead singles and not the comeback we wanted. This should have been X's run of singles =

'The One'
'Wow'
'In My Arms'
'Like A Drug'

'Speakerphone' - USA Lead Single (if successful then have 'The One' or 'In My Arms' are follow-ups)

'Giving You Up' - Took me a while to warm to this, and now I really like it, sure its no classic, but its a fun pop track.

A little fan-made cover I found for 'Crystallize that I decided to share with Buzzjack.

Why this wasn't included on 'KMO' is beyond me, a wonderful track, just one of the many, many terrible decisions that was made during this era. Leaving off 'Skirt', 'Waiting For The Sun', 'Sparks', 'Voodoo' & hell even the 'Sleepwalker EP'. If these were included and scrap the bland numbers, then this could have been an amazing album.'
Crystalize should have easily made the album and I wish it was on the new greatest hits as the song so far has no home on any kylie album.

I would have welcomed Crystallize on the Step Back in Time release as the song seems lost as it never had a home on any Kylie album.

The song was by far one the highlights from the Kiss Me Once era and why they left it off the album is a mystery.

I have always enjoyed her debut and it was a great debut looking back on it.

As debuts go it was good and very reflective of Kylie.

It set everything up perfectly for the 30 years that were ahead.

Her debut is enjoyable enough, probably one that would have been better at the time though and I'd actually go as far to say it's become my least favourite Kylie album. I barely return to it and I feel Enjoy Yourself does the same thing but better. Hard to pinpoint what it is - I would say dated production and not being keen on the vocal pitching, but then I rather like the B-side Getting Closer and Turn It Into Love which technically suffer those points.

The vocal pitching is slightly high but to an extent that works as an advantage.

I still enjoy the material from her debut, there is no song i dislike.

That said, i much prefer Enjoy Yourself.

I think Kylie was still finding her voice which is why the vocals are so pitched. She seems to have worked out what she can do during Enjoy Yourself so there's slightly more variety.

Kylie had her debut album complete while in a bubble as everything came at her so fast and heavy at the time.

With Enjoy Yourself she had a little more experience under her belt.
