I'm a wreck after watching that, incredible song!

The moment was cute but the song is not great, I don’t think - the studio version is almost unlistenable.

Amazing performance and I'm so so proud of her but I don't think much of the song in all honesty :(

Tbh it wouldn’t surprise me if what she releases next is what goes on to be the big bit from her next era.

I doubt they'll push this fully as a single as its not a commercial sort of song, a ballad like this would never be a hit but I don't think it's meant to be, nor does it need to be. For her first performance since the overdose, it had to be a song like this, particularly since it was the last song she wrote before it. I'm sure she's got a hit up her sleeve but it would have felt much less impactful if she came back and performed something like that!

It is. Selena's was more accesible and less like a soundtrack.

I agree with all of what you have said. I won't listen to the song again/much, but I get why it was released. Pretty sure this is just to get the hype train going again.

I think the song is gorgeous and does the job Demi wanted it to do, though I agree, it's not really a hit and I'm hoping it's not meant to be her lead single!

I'm happy she's releasing music but I really don't like this at all. Especially as her first single after the amazing Sober which done a great job as an emotional ballad. Lyrics like "I tried and tried and tried some more" don't sound right with the tune and are pretty lazy
