So Glastonbury will soon be with us!

Aside from ‘Step Back In Time’ do you think any of her available back catalogue will benefit?

I think there is a chance ‘Golden’ could return to the charts and although I don’t think she’ll get any singles action she could potentially do well on the iTunes singles chart especially if there is a really big moment that get’s everyone talking.

I’m hoping she gets some sales for her older albums as people seek out things they have missed over the years and it seems BMG have put the expanded 2 disc version of ‘Impossible Princess’ back into circulation again.

But above all I hope the OCC give us up to date sales figures for all of her albums :P
Golden may benefit but i don't think the chart will be flooded with Kylie albums either.

Yeah I could see Golden making some sort of reappearance in the charts. Some songs will do well on iTunes - I'm sure 'Dancing' will be performed and make a resurge like it usually does. I've got it in my head that she'll bring Nick Cave out to perform 'Where the Wild Roses Grown' and I could see that having a really big effect.

Remember Glastonbury is not all about Kylie...... Lots of acts will pick up sales

Not sure what this is supposed to mean. We all know that whoever performs the Legends spot gets great coverage and sees a boost in sales.

I agree about nick cave and if he does appear the song could get a good boost. Dancing I think will benefit alot as everytime it gets any but of promo it gets a good jump.

That happens every year though? And this is a Kylie forum so we’re discussing Kylie’s potential impact?!

That would be so iconic - Kylie still has a lot of love for that song and surprisingly it’s well remembered by the GP too. Totally agree it’s the kind of stand out song that could get a huge boost.

I remember when Kylie joined him on stage in London last year and it received a lot of media attention, so I feel performing on a platform like Glastonbury would really magnify the coverage!

Hope it happens!

The song is a very big part of her career as she has often mentioned.

When Kylie joined Nick in London it really brought attention to the song and Glastonbury would bring even further and well deserved attention.

I'd be very surprised if its not performed as I'm fully expecting nick cave to be there. Always a huge fan of the song and while it wont happen I'd love to see it re enter the top 75.

Would love to know it’s Uk sales - it seems to have been a constant trickle seller and has great streaming numbers.

I would guess in the 120k-129k bracket. Sold an estimated 95k in pure sales up to April 2018. It placed behind 'On a Night Like This' on her most streamed list, which was on an estimated 175k in pure sales up to April 2018 and had sold 200k overall by May 2018 (so 25k from streams).

Solid sales for a #11 single which charted when sales were low and only spent 4 weeks in the Top 100! Would love it to eventually go silver, I always check the BPI certifications to see if any Kylie tracks have sneaked an award thanks to streaming!

I suspect the next certification will be 'I Believe in You' going Silver or 'Santa Baby' going Gold. The others are too far off a new certification, I think.

So here for IBIY finally getting silver - one of my all time faves! (Will be sure it’s high up my streaming playlist now to help it on its way :P ).

Any certification is welcome but wonderful to see two songs in line for certification.
